OKW?3 Feb 2015, 09:33 AM Always be on the lookout to try destroy their Base buildings, it might seem like a tough battle but its ussually always one worth fighting, keep them on back foot and keep 80% of the map capped. Thread: Soviet Tank Hunter Commander3 Feb 2015, 09:05 AM I think it could work reasonably in 1v1 by going T1-T3, spam cons followed by T34's Soviet tier 3 rapes inf early on, and the extra At the cons can provide will allow the T34s to overcome German armour as it comes out. The only thing this might struggle with is heavy defensive play with support weapons due to the lack of indirect fire. Sometimes T34 will pick it appart, but well played paks would see them off. Potentially the bombing strike could help if their forces were too tightly grouped. In: Red Army Strategies
Thread: Fighting Elite Troops3 Feb 2015, 08:23 AM Also bare in mind that units with bought vet give away vet to your inf at a higher rate. So units like grens that grind are a bad choice to vet up (they tend to gain it regardless anyway). So really try to gang up on the vetted squad and squeeze some free vet out of it on your way to a quick T3. I like to vet mortars as they are lethal at vet 3. Snipers and MGs are also good with vet, but I dont like spending fuel on fragile inf near the front line. In: Red Army Strategies
