Stalingrad could be any heavily bombarded city in Europe, Berlin, somewhere in France, you name it Langres could be any rural part of Russia, in fact they imply that with the name Langreska. As long as you accept that there is no historical problem. And dont moan about USA and Russia fighting in the same battle, because they were allies against the same foe just on two fronts. This isnt exactly a real life battle simulator, its far too archadey for that. Having Japan in Europe, now that would make zero sense. Thats why I think Pacific theatre could be good for coh3. Which fits the timeline of coh franchise, Japan being the true end of WWII. In: COH2 Gameplay

Stiger comes sooner than a panther Its got to be worth a shot, they lack fuel an so decent counter to chase the stiger. As a bonus its impervious to mortars and the light At gun. Thread: Soviet Industry in Team Games24 Feb 2015, 00:11 AM Kv8 can he tricky Vs shrek blob, it struggles to do enough damage fast. Su85s are preferable to protect KV8 against vehicles and katyusha is favorable to counter shrek blob. Kv8 is good protection for all tier 4 against infantry pushes. Obviously uses a hell of a lot of fuel, so only good in large team game you can survive the early game in, and unti 8cp for kv8. But nice because you dont need any inf later, appart from an engie to build repair bays. In: Red Army Strategies

Well tier 1 for Ost unlocks rifle nades as well a tech. So not totally true. Sov pays separately. I think gren spam can be a bit of a trap and short sighted, because it drains a lot of munis that coukd go towards mg bunkers, mines, shreks and R nades, all good stuff. And also grens are nearly always draining MP to fight, when Ost are short on MP. Mixing in some mgs and mortars saves MP and muni. Having extra muni allows the grens u do have to use nades ontop of LMG, hence winning an engagement quicker and in turn losing even less MP. In: COH2 Gameplay

I think the best way to use it is to combine it with a heavy defensive position, pak43s and bunkers which will trigger your opponent to think of indirect fire.. Normally a good counter. I imagine this works best of the German howie. However id be tempted to go with the command tank and hulldown in this scenario rather than howie In: Ostheer Strategies

Flank very carefully on mass from many directions, the infl nades will own MG and even ones in buildings. If this eats into your shrek fund a little bit you might find you need a puma or a Jagdpanzer for their T3. And a rakketten to protect it. Try to work on stealing a ZiS if you get thr chance.
