So many god damn arm chair developers thinking they are so god damn better. Well unless you work in a big games studio with several years of experience, you just dont know what it takes. This patch is literally full of awesome changes, with them promising that more are on the way. They are addressing pretty much everything we, the community have asked for. And still people spit their dummy out like a petulant child. People really showing their nasty side in this thread. In: Lobby

Again, he wasnt talking about the CAS doctrine. He was talking about the loitering stuka. Far too many people constantly muddeling up Stuka loiter and stuka AT strafe from CAS doctrine on this forum. CAS doctrine is strong, but i does NOT auto target like peeople keep implying. The stuka loiter, while very strong, is NOT in any muni convert doctrine. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Is it just me or are the Allies too spam heavy lately...16 Jun 2015, 10:22 AM Ive had some great fun recently using a couple Ostwinds backed by paks. Can totally wreck the allied inf spam and bleed them hard, much harder than Pz4s. It can be hard relying on only paks for AT, but honestly with werh you need to do that no matter what you build. Spotting scopes can really help give the paks vision to hit tanks from afar. You have to stay really tight, and not mess up, but its all about bleeding their blob and repeling assaults. Im going to experiment using elite troops, Oswinds and paks into Tiger Ace, although that will forfit spotting scopes. In: COH2 Balance

I was talking about CAS.. Close air support doctrine. If you go no armour you get better use of the planes and more well equipped inf. But if you teck, you lose some of that edge, so a good enemy can pick you appart with mediums In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Wehrmacht has to many "get out of jail free" abilities12 Jun 2015, 10:52 AM The thing that can make CAS dominate, is the spam of inf with plenty of munis for upgrades, topped off with air support that really allows you to dominate (aka cheese), but it is possible for a good enemy to pick you to pieces with armour, so long as they keep your army in check and its not allowed to snow ball. If you DO decide to teck to P4 with CAS, you are instantly hurting the amount of infatry AND planes you field, because tecking costs plenty of MANPOWER and fuel.. so CAS then becomes more rounded, but not as powerful. Its powerful for the same reason Mech Assault and Stug Es are powerful, it is one of few Werh doctrines that has some impact without investing teck heavily in manpower, allowing you to field a decent sized infatry force. And they could just fix USA pop cap abuse by giving the vehicle crews themselves the same pop cap as their tank, so when they exit, nothing would change.. In: COH2 Gameplay

Using all the broken CAS tools, especially the stuka loiter that is incredibly broken or the rifle nade wipe machines or stun grenades that stop enemy infantry from there retreat and you can't win with them? I don't play axis much no secret, but I play against them. Try this make gren blobs, make more gren blobs, get double paks, choose commander with stuka loiter and tiger tank. Paks follow around the tiger at all times. Let tiger and gren blobs wipe opposing infantry. Click stukka loiter on any jacksons or any thing else that stands a small chance at killing or flanking your tiger. Win. My least fav strat to play against. If you want to call the loitering stuka, you lose a hell of a lot of other abilities like tellars, rifle nades, MGs on tanks, Scout car upgrade. Normally when I play werh, all my munis are used up without calling in any 200 muni ability. And if your talking about not tecking and just calling in Tigers, USA and soviet can ruin you with tanks so even if a Tiger arrives youve lost too much. If you teck, its expensive on manpower, so you lose field pressence. Only way to safely and affordably reach Tigers is using Stug Es backed with paks. Honestly, you cant comment too much on Werh if you dont play them, because hand on heart it is so frustrating. USA and Soviets are so bloody strong at the moment. In: COH2 Balance
