Japan might have been getting ground down, but it was pretty intense fighting on those islands. Def an attrition war, just one they were losing steadily. Might not have needed to nuke them otherwise.. |
That's what was awesome with C&C Generals, it was 'tongue in cheek' enough to get away with having terrorist and Chinese factions.
Korea certainly has potential for coh, but it's way too close to current affairs.

I would be surprised if it was Africa, simply because its much earlier in the war than COH2. Unless they made it smaller scale, with more in depth control and abilities, but fewer squads and tanks, and tanks likely to be more early war, so room to explore P3s and other earlier stuff coh not used much.

True, but REs are more readily equiped with zooks.
It'l certainly be a pain for some people who use rifle smoke a lot, but I guess you just have to plan harder to have the squad really needing smoke be the Lt. |
They are nerfing the entry and exit time of garrisons, may help somewhat with using grenades against them.
I wonder if echelons having smoke will open any interesting tactics for flanking with zooks.. |
You could improve NKVD by changing rapid conscription for the partisan map hack ability, would be pretty strong then and certainly get good use from people who want that ability but don't want to call partisans.
I like most of the Soviet commanders, they offer many different strategical styles and unit compositions.
One of best and favorites for me is Soviet shock army, the pressure you can put on OKW with ppsh spam and some shocks while bombing trucks with 120mm followed up with howie and 34/76 rush is quite brutal. |
Wasn't this why they introduced removing players who were inactive, because someone who played 50 games with the original tiger ace then stopped playing when it was nerfed was going to stay high up... Etc

So we have an Ostheer faction that has easier access to better generalist units around their dedicated AT units (pak40 and Stug) and if their really need another AT source to fight bigger cats such as Churchills, they can either call an Elefant (in teamgame) or a panther (1vs1)

You cant have Tiger none doc, because there are many abilities which will make the tiger easily OP: Scopes, stuka bomb (nuke ATGs), Hull down, Lefh, even stuff like Luftwaffe flame arty might be too powerful in combination. |
I also find that if you have 2 REs working together (without standing too close) they are quite a deterrent for any kind of armour as well, despite their vulnerability. Once they got shredded of their models, you better retreat them asap!
If you go mechanised for generally harrasing okw early game, you can use the HT defensively as a mobile reinforce point to give your RE zook squads staying power and really stand up to luchs. If you really want to dive it to finish it off they can jump in it too, or just if you need to reposition fast.
Just use the assault engies to run around laying demos. |
LOL. Tries game for 5 mins late in the games life when most players are fairly decent, blames losing on balance.
Allies definatley have solid ways to win, especially in 2v2, you just need to know how to play :/ |
