Thread: Countering Industry15 Nov 2013, 07:29 AM It might be a good idea to build a command bunker defending your fuel and put 1st pak and PGs next to it, this would make them harder to take out through reinforcing, and if the PGs need to they can hop inside the bunker. I'm sure that would be a reliable way to hold territory, and pretty cheap. Lack of molotovs makes it stronger. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: The post 'Turning Point' T-34/8514 Nov 2013, 22:44 PM I'm looking forward to trying T1 then T2 using armoured assault now, ill have a go tomorrow. 3 cons> flamer M3> penal> ZiS3> maxim> sniper/maxim/mortar (whatever's needed). Then T34/85's, followed by an IS-2. Top with Sturmovik strafe. 4 CPs comes quite quick with large inf force contesting whole map. In: Red Army Strategies

I think the armour is exactly the same as a normal Tiger, so that all weapons will penetrate the same amount. It just has double HP. So ram and AT nades work like on any other tiger. That is when you need to take advantage. Why would the early game of elite inf suffer? The way I would use it would not be to get grens. The only inf I would possibly vet would be shrek PGs. But more likely I'd just use it on p4's You wouldn't even need to pick the doctrine until you had a p4, or wanted g43 at 2 CPs. Especially with G43, I think grens will vet fine on their own. Thread: Tiger Ace Explained14 Nov 2013, 17:54 PM For people who dont want to use Industry doctrine, I imagine a ISU152 backed up by 2 T34s is pretty brutal. Wave good bye to their infantry, ram any tanks that try to come too close, use the doctrine with con repair and ISU152. Its even got IL-2 bomb drop in case you happen to immobilise the Ace. Thread: 7 muni Anti Personnel mine14 Nov 2013, 17:47 PM I have found the Sov defence really strong actually, not lost a game yet out of about 3 games. Its really easy to take map control while spamming Dhsk, supported by at guns. The heavy mortar hard counters german mortars, then you can teck to T34s quite fast after that. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Countering Industry14 Nov 2013, 17:43 PM Well make sure you check if he has industry commander in load up, then if you see mostly engies and M3 he's gonna be using it. If you see cons and he ends up using it, concentrate on draining those cons. Reinforcing large squads is a bitch with industry. In: COH2 Gameplay
