Thread: So.. um ..Don River12 Dec 2013, 09:20 AM I think this map totally favoures Germans, esspecially from top. I mean it was designed to be a camp defence map in ToW for Germans. I've played 1 games so far (as bottom) and 2 MGs easily owned me. I'm going to have to play a load more before making my mind up though. as far as I can tell, you need to rush north just to get a bridge head in the town, and just send an engie off to cap your side. Thread: Pak43 buff12 Dec 2013, 09:06 AM Sluzbenik, your correct about arty, but for 1v1 look at the doctrines. There are a few popular soviet ones that rely on T3 or even no T3 or T4, and don't have any decent arty strike. Furthermore, pak43 comes at 7 CP. so the only off maps that can counter instantly are incendiary arty, and even that will only decrew, so nothing a cheap squad and half track won't counter. So if you identify correct doctrines to use it against, and use any CP window with lack of counters, it's a real bitch In: COH2 Balance

Building a P4 is the wrong move when 34/85s are designed to hard counter them. Either teck to panthers, but that's harder and your still going to get mark targeted, which is all why you are better off with stugs protected by screen of paks and grens. They will not reach your stugs then, as Areohawk said. Then save for tiger if you want and use existing AT to protect that also, push them off map. In: COH2 Balance

That's all he was saying. Balance wise, we'll have to see how that plays out over lots of games. I imagine it makes cons feel similarish to ass grens for a short while until Germans get upgrades and PGs out. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: CP changes11 Dec 2013, 13:58 PM I really like penals with guard doctrines, gives a good boost to AI. I've been using 2 con, 2 penal, 2 guard quite a lot. Don't bother getting molos. Use cons to reinforce penals where you can. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tiger Ace Perk11 Dec 2013, 13:54 PM The tigers weapon range IS longer than standard sight range. (I've used the bulletin). So it does make the tiger more lethal particularly if pushing into their base. However, it's probably not worth it because your telling opponent in load screen what your going to do.
