With T34 ram (or snare/mine) and AT overwatch being a very strong combo against axis vehicles, I was wondering if you can stuka smoke the tank to obscure vision for the arty to not ramp up. Is this something smoke bombs can do? Or being in the AT overwatch circle is enough for the arty to ramp up? Thanks!
Interesting one. I dont know it either but suspect, that blocking the vision with smoke should be enough, since generally vision is required |
My units seem to always require closer distance to engage enemy units, I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
An example would be I have a riflemen squad and the enemy has a volks squad, the volks will be able to engage my units and shoot at them but my riflemen just sit and do nothing and take damage, when I click on them to engage, they will have to move out of cover and approach the volks squad (by about an inch on my monitor).
This happens constantly over all sorts of terrain, units (IE my tommies will not engage grens that are shooting them and need to move closer when told to engage) and maps so I don't think it's from them 'not seeing the enemy' through shot blockers or something like that.
The easiest way to find out, what your problem is, would be replay posted with timestamps, where the problem occurs. |
Puma can deal with a sniper. Just need vet 1 to counter snipe. Should be easy with the fast speed.
To deal with MG > leig or flak track.
Pz2 or Puma.
Alternately avoid blobbing and flanking can deal with an MG.
If you lose any tank in the early game it is devastating so you have to play conservatively.
Vet 1 aint 100% anymore, as far as i know vs snipers; atz least on retreating ones. |

Also, the market for RTS keeps looking worse. To Relic, Iron Harvest might look like a preview of failure for CoH3. I'm also assuming that Relic has been feeling pretty risk averse since DoW3.
AoE2 DE and C&C Remastered have been successful, at least.

Its a drop hack. Chineese folks like to do it in teamgames. Most of the times, its very rare ppl can get sync error if they are playing matchmacking after singleplayer\modded games.
There is sadly nothing you can do about it, since after they drop the game I belive even replay is being deleated or corrupted. Even player cards dont count it as drops.
Best way to report thouse guys whould be pre-record games if you in case you suspect someone is in the game who might drop you.

Today i encountered 2 sync error in team games with games played. Everytime the enemy was completly lossing (10 vpsleft with nothing left etc.)
Suddenly the end screen pops up, saying there is a sync error.
It is still possible to write with teammates and the enemy. After you click on "leave the game" bugsplash.
Evertime the game counted as a loss.
My question: Is this relic being relic or is someone drophacking cheating of some sort? |
Ranked, I only play USF. Wouldn't be caught dead playing Nazis with some sort of record being taken. That being said I do play custom games with Axis against other players (and seldom AI after updates). If a nerf/buff is justified for either party, I'm all for it. The balance team is doing a pretty good job if you ask me. You'll always find people complaining on both sides of the pond. Either OKW is UP or USF is UP or this is OP or that is UP. BS if you ask me.
I dont wanna derail this threat, but you cant play Nazis in this game unless you play mods. Wehrmacht ≠ Nazis.

Panther has armour of Pershing, penetration of Pershing, faster than Sherman and better acceleration (even more so with blitz), fires faster than Pershing, pintle MG upgrade for AI.
Furthermore, Panther has enough survivability to dive most tanks on close range so that you don't even have to press "S" to stop the Panther, and if you fail to press "S" when engaging tanks with a tanky, 50 range (10 more than mediums, 10 less than squishy TDs) Panther, then you really fail at Wehr.
Brumbar has 5 range less (35 range as opposed to 40 on mediums) than medium tanks like Sherman and it drops a bomb that wipes squads easily and bleeds any infantry in it's range.
Which self spotting TDs are you referring to? Jackson has 60 range and 35 sight meaning he has to be damn close to fire on it's own without any infantry to give vision (and USF lacks sniper to spot in camo)

SU-85 also 35 sight with possibility to greatly reduce the cone vision in favor of further sight (only viable if you already know that there is a tank at just the right position).
You know which tank is self spotting? Brummbar, 35 sight, 35 range.
If you fail to utilize Wehr's units and vast possibilities, it's your own fault. I don't think I've had games around my rank (64) where OST players struggle. Most struggling usually comes from soviet players that decide to go penals build, at least in my experience.
Thats the point. Ost struggles at 1v1 and 2v2. Since in larger modes it is easier to come to the late game, without having to relay heavily on t1 units |
