Thread: Supply - in-game currency 5 Feb 2015, 14:32 PM Durability for cosmetic items, i can live with that. But for commanders and bulletins it's a bad idea. But the free to play model is a good idea as the game is not a top seller anymore as it would bring more people into the game. With F2P, in game leaderboard will be a must. In: Lobby

Thread: Patch 03 feb4 Feb 2015, 21:59 PM Cool down people, cool down. Communication and bugs fixing are way better than it was in COH prime time. The game while not perfectly balanced is still a lot of fun and challenging! Specially team game's format : 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4. When you feel the pressure is too high and all you want is commenting negatively, that may mean that its time to go play some other games. You can always come back when your feel you missed the game. Or do like me and play only 3-5 games a day, then play some others non real time type of game like hearthstone, some MMOs or else. That way you, won't overfill your head with COH2. Don't put all your eggs in the same basket. However, COH2 is still my favorite game ! Long live to COH2, the game where the brain still matter ! In: Lobby
Thread: Kappatch 2 2 Feb 2015, 03:29 AM I just finished to watching a 3vs3, cpu vs cpu match with the patch, it was 2 US +1 Sov vs 2 Okw +1 Ost. Match last 55 mins and was won by the Axis 149-0. (To setup this, i create a 4vs3 where i did nothing but watch) The greatest scorer for Allies was the Sov with 42000 followed by the 2 US with around 35000 each. The greatest scorer for Axis was the OST with 52000 followed by the 2 OKW with around 39000 each. It wasn't a crush as the allies was still going strong but lack the time. The only thing strange was the Us building too many M2 mortars... A part of that the balance seem closer that without the patch. In all case it was fun to watch. i will try to simulate a few more match and report. Thanks for you effort Cruzz ! PS: i hope some pros will test it in all game formats and cast it for us to see. Thread: M8 Greyhound Canister shot is extremely OP 30 Jan 2015, 00:03 AM This unit is useful as many other call in from other generals. I think there is many more important balancing issues that should be discussed before this one should ever be. The new cover system is what made this unit more deadly, as now are grenades or the main gun of many tanks. This unit is particularly vulnerable to mines, to shrecks and pumas, so the best way to fight it is to be prepare. The moment you know that this commander is chosen, you know what you have to do, just do it. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: M8 Greyhound Canister shot is extremely OP 28 Jan 2015, 17:17 PM If the canister ability must have to be toned down, then its durability and its others offensive abilities must be increased proportionally. Thus the unit shall retain it's appeal and it's role and won't fall into oblivion. The canister shot and the armor skirt cost reduction should also be proportional to the reduction of the canister firepower. It should now also be able to retreat more easily after having taken at least 2 shrecks hits with its skirt upgrade. Comments ? Thanks. Thread: Scouting and flanking gameplay must return into the game !28 Jan 2015, 16:53 PM If ever the HMG and mines buffs are to come into the game, the OKW need more ways to breakthrough fortified position apart of volk's blobs frontal assault... (They have already smoke on pumas but they need more and quicker) So i suggest giving them this additional smoke option: Add to the Kübelwagen, the possibility of a sending small smoke screen available at vet0 for 15 munition on 2 min cooldown with the same range as the US rifle one. (But with the need to recharge at the start of the game) Comments ? Thanks in advance. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Suggested buff for MG-4228 Jan 2015, 16:31 PM Jump back to quoted post28 Jan 2015, 15:40 PMbogeuh austerlitz since soviet/ostheer didn't change i assume your main issue is with US? what if i told you all you need is 1 squad to take out an mg given that -you know where it is and its firing arc -its not supported but yes i agree having an mg create a no go zone while your infantry is somewhere else capping would make life easier how do you think the other factions mg's do? try them soviet and ostheer need to be looked at trying to solve the issue with buffs to mg's alone is a bad solution Buffing HMG is a good start, but may others avenues must also be considered. If you want something new, challenging with a lot of play variety : Try a 4vs4 automatch allies side with 3 friends on voice chat. It's the place where you can plan, surprise, innovate (get out of the meta), socialized and laugh at you friend's mistakes e.t.c...This is a whole different gaming experience ! I wish you the best.
