What is wrong with something that is simple and easy to read? Well said! I too find the UI too busy and hard to read. I hope they add a classic UI. I'm not comfortable with the new one. Though I like the font , the information is too cluttered by bright and contrasting backgrounds. I fear though that the UI wont change because they made a special announcement: "See here, this is the UI." Changing or even reverting things to the old UI might not be possible past this point. They said that the unit portrait gets mouse roll overs, so maybe the kill count can be expanded to see a more detailed break down. In: News

In CoH it's red, yellow and dark brown with a grey/black background making it stick out a lot. Here the colors are all light making it look grainy and hard to see. +1 The colors are horrible for someone as colorblind as me. Couldn't read or write about it in the alpha forums (no access yet). The vCoH colors were perfect (as seen in my avatar). I hope they offer different colors, or at least a colorblind-friendly mode. The unit shields in the top right corner are a great addition for me, I always forget my idle units. In: News

And it opens up a whole can of balance problems. Like Germanys unit X is weak against the Russians but powerful against a fellow German. And because of this the unit X is the only valid option for early game. Does unit X needs to be nerfed to balance the metagame? Or the synergy of a German-Russian 2v2 against Two Germans. Will it be too powerful like early US/Brit combos? These are all balance problems which can be avoided by not using missors. They can also be simply ignored, which will be worse (for casual players). If Mirrors are definetly in then please only basic matches with an option for the host to select weather they are allowed or not (Army selection: free / authentic). In: Lobby
