It might be new to you, but in WW2 americans were not fighting agaisnt british or soviets and wehrmacht wasn't fighting itself. Custom games, anything goes and stays there. There was a wehrmacht Battalion fighting alongside the americans in Austria before the war ended Kappa In: Lobby

Thread: can we now fix soviet T2 please?21 Dec 2018, 13:52 PM Jump back to quoted post21 Dec 2018, 13:45 PMgbem the fact that maxims have to be spammed in order to be useful vs okw highlights the deficiency of the conscript and of T2 really while i agree, conscripts are probably the most unefficien unit, you don't need to spam maxim to have a good effect. It's imo still an offensive mg, while mg42, vickers, aren't. I've played several times 4 cons into sniper into t70, then build t2 to lock down the territory with an AT gun and a maxim. Be creative. Try out weird builds. The only faction you can do that is pretty much soviets. In: COH2 Balance

Vonasten played 4 Cons into t2 pretty much every game of GCS and won vs very strong opponents like Noggano for example with that strategy In: COH2 Balance

Then you just pressure him, you always have the advantage of having higher numbers. Got to play it aggresive. vs Okw : Maxim Maxim Maxim... Maxim or Zis. Conscripts vs okw i get very very rarely. Maybe on maps where i need some more capping power. The Thing is, with your maxims you want to play a little bit of like a flanking infantry unit, and then cover the maxim with another maxim, which is covered by another maxim.
