Gonna try that out. Comps are perfect for watching a rak getting destroyed by a sherman HE shell, lets see if its gotten worse. In: COH2 Balance

Maybe starting a similar approach with the repairman spawning directly - but thats just useless since there will be no vehicle to repair There was an idea on the forum to switch Luchs and AAHT, but i doubt it´s fitting the now already updated battlegroup HQ which is ablolutely fine in the prepatch In: COH2 Balance

Further more you dont have any controll left on the unit. That means most of the time you would be safer going another direction manually for example into the frontline... i think everyone agrees that this is another certain death. I agree that this is a QoL change that should be considered. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] Bug Reporting13 Dec 2020, 18:00 PM IR Halftracks recon plane skill has the wrong usage radius. When i want to use the skill on medium to max range the halftrack starts moving towards the location marked for the plane. Either the range of the skill is wrong or the red radius from it is too large. In: COH2 Balance

Adding the ground target would force the allies to invest a sh**ton of resources to destroy it. It would no longer be worth it to even try to kill it. A competent player will not let the schwerer go down to one smoke plus a bunch of gammon bombs. It´s supression could be adjusted accordingly. I would be fine with the way it is now, except when it has been destroyed and one has to reupgrade to get tanks. be it attack ground or that, one of the two should be adjusted. But i wont complain. OKW gets a huge QoL upgrade with this patch and the faction plays so much smoother now In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] OKW Feedback10 Dec 2020, 09:18 AM After trying it out a little. I misunderstood the change. FRP is still optional and i find that good. But making it Battlegroup upgrade mandatory for STG might be a bummer. Maybe make it medic OR btg-upgrade necessary for stg. It feels so late - but i can clearly see that the earlier mg helps alot to compensate that edit: overall okw feels a lot more flexible to play. thank you for that! In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] OKW Feedback8 Dec 2020, 18:21 PM I am super unsure about the Battlegroup change. I am used to not using FRP because i dont see much use in it in an unstable teamgame. Putting it into context with other factions i think having an earlier MG34 might help alot. Delaying folks faust and Stg further is the problem here (did not do the calc though). There will still be more time necessary to counter clown cars i i am not mistaken. Might be cancerous. I did not agree with GiaA's post about a limited player choice but with battlegroup upgrade mandatory to strengthen mainline infantry this indeed is the case now. I dont want to be forced to use FRP if i only want medics Gonna test that tomorrow. I really wonder how it turns out EDIT: wait does this change mean i can get obers/hetzer/ostwind evem faster now if i do a good army composition and hold my ground? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: [Winter Balance Update] OKW Feedback5 Dec 2020, 16:57 PM Although i see where this idea is coming from i think making stg doctrinal is a bad choice. Having to wait for defensive infantry till obers come out is too long. MP40 is good, but volks will bleed hard when engaging. An even further delayed MG34 makes it even harder for volks to stand their ground. I will wait till the next pre-patch update and see where this is going to. only thing okw wise i would be complaining right would be the Flamehetzer timing. I think i could be delayed by maybe 1 or 2 minutes. Teamgames might be memeing hard with it. Though, Ostwind is well aligned as far as i noticed. second is the delayed MG34 which gets compensated by better healing when deciding for medtruck. Might just be me who is used to get it a little earlier and having no alternative choice till it can be produced In: COH2 Balance
