Soviet fanboys would love to make it as good as a Panzer 4 while being cheaper. But fortunately there are players who play both sides .... its cheaper for a reason .... its NOT meant to take on a more expensive panzer 4 headon 1 v 1. Its fantastic against infantry and can maul any light vehicles. As for panzer 4 ram still works. Its stupid to expect a t3 unit to do well against a t4 unit like the panther. I guess they are the direct adversaries of german fan boys. Regarding the t34, it will not be better than the panzer 4 if relic increases the penetration to 100 for example. It still has less damage and less armor. That would just make t34 round bounce a little less than half the time against panzer 4 front armor and panther back armor. In: COH2 Balance

That being said I think that 1cp on Assault grens and 0cp for Ostruppen would be fine. The amount that 0cp accelerates the T-2 rush strat is pretty severe as instead of having capping power you have sever killing power and will get a scout car out the same time as his scout cars. yes, the guy I played against relied on ag only but if he were to combine that with t2, it would be very deadly, because now he dose not need to retreat engineers after capping, now he has ag to hold the ground after capping. I don't think much, maybe indirectly, in the fact that ram should never work against it from the front and AT grnades should not be so random, damaging the engine from the first hit or deflecting 6 times in a row. Thread: Mechanized Assault big impact early game?25 Sep 2013, 07:15 AM I just had the chance to play against a player using Mechanized Assault Doctrine and thought the doctrine was very good. Maybe too good early game, especially that ppsh is not available until point 2 where as assault grenadiers at point 0. What do you think is the best way counter this doctrine, and is this doctrine OP in its current setup? In: COH2 Balance

If I recon the patch increased the damage from 80 to 120 and the penetration from 75 to 80. So they increased damage, but hardly touched penetration. In: COH2 Balance
