Thread: the strat is to sad for words4 Jan 2015, 12:41 PM guys, let me make this clear. i dont find it sad because i lost or anything, i find it sad since they play the game in such a way it the extreme opposite of the intended game design. I think its just sad that i even have to try to win against this strat. That i failed winning against this massive blob strat is my fault, but thats not my point. indeed, my stuka shots were horrible, indeed, vehicle micro wasnt great, but that still doenst matter. what matters to me is that this kind of strat can used. second, it was the 4th time to play vs that guy. we tried mgs before, they just get frontal whiped by the 4 pathfinders with bars (retreating is pretty much impossible once engaged). luchs comes out at around the same time as the jackson. we tried more things, yet they all get countered or they come out too late. so this fourth game we tried to counterblob. although we didnt succesfully execute that strat, it still worked better that any other strat tried before.
