CE have the same flamer, but can repair it. Because Penals is a better combat unit, can be put to good use with or without the M3, at early or late game. Thread: why no sniper in us army ?13 Oct 2014, 13:15 PM Hey everyone after trying penals for a while i can see why people think it's good. It's the only non-doc Soviet infantry unit that is able to compete with Axis elite to some extent. But the lack of grenade and especially anti-tank weapon make you unable to spam them as main line infantry so using penals in conjunction with other units such as cons, guards etc is the best way to make it shine. Maybe that's the reason penals are not very popular. Back to the topic, to say the truth i really do miss the thrilling feel of snipers war in vCOH (when one has at most 2 snipers, no spam). Build more grens to compensate! But Gren is 7 popcap, build more Grens and he won't have enough popcap for tanks and anything else when T-34/85 or ISU etc hit the field, while cons can simply merge with each other whenever you need. If Relic can just reduce Cons's pop cap to 4 or 5 then maybe we can make like 2 Cons for each Gren squad in mid-late game and have a better chance to fight back. In: Strategy Desk

Presumably this is intended, since this has been the case for a long time and would likely have been fixed if it was a bug. Never thought about that, thank you for the correction. And Elephant and Jagd can be nerfed to reasonable levels. Axis needs them for fear allies might go ISU, if you just remove the great AT power of the ISU there won't be any unbalance if the Jagd and elephant goes down a notch. (or 5). Allies have enough AT without ISU anyhow. Did you just mention Su-76? Sorry but i have to say it ruined all the points in your post. Everyone know how bad and overprice it is and to think that Su-76 is a counter (even combine with whatever Soviet Tiers has) to Axis armor clearly show how little you know about the game. You're right schnuersi, though i still think the Su-152 was the first armor vehicle (not a real tank, yes) able to reliably take down German heavy tanks like Panther and Tiger etc from the front. It provides the Soviet a reliable counter which available in large number to superior German tanks in the mid-war. So about the game i would really like the Su-152 or its variants in Soviet T4 instead of Su-85. Unfortunately that's not gonna happen . In: News
Thread: Is OKW the strongest faction currently?22 Sep 2014, 11:03 AM Joking aside i do agree some units in OKW are unnecessarily overpower. It's just makes no sense when a heavy tank destroyer with strong armor, plenty of HP and lethal damage can shoot through everything on the battlefield, what's the tactic and skill involved in that? Allied infantry are already lost to Axis infantry, now they can't fight with tank and vehicle, no fair at all. In: COH2 Balance
