Joke is, he thinks the is either Isaev or von Stierlitz but in reality the actor just got black out drunk. One of the things that got me interested in russia in the first place was its literature. Man as an equally depressed swede the realism that the russian language can put on paper is amazing. About Yulian Semyonov i even read his second novel about Maxim Isaev "The order to live" (which 17 Moments of Spring was the first), a brilliant book. The feeling you get when Soviet artillery rained down Berlin and ODESSA began their escaping operation - it's the end but also the beginning - was just so great! In: The Library

So the allied tanks were matching all-in-all. Even the French. And Soviet optics were World class. And the German Aces figures are loads inflated. But still the tank casualties for Allies compared to Germany were staggering. Due to sheer incompetence of allied crews then? How do the tank aces not have a great ratio when the ratio of allied tanks to German tanks were so uneven? Hah! "Maths" sneer. Maybe the ratios are not correct and Soviets had actually less tanks. Because Soviet did not have as much people as claimed, just big country geographics. They did have a big geographics didn't they? And very cold snow? It's all so confusing. I would not say allied tanks were matching all-in-all, they're still mostly inferior in long range combat compared to German one, but that's situational. And many of the Allied tanks losses came from anti tank gun, panzerschreck and panzerfaust etc etc, not by German armor, especially in later stage of the war when they're on the offensive, not defensive like the German. Thread: Conscripts scaling to late game...18 Mar 2015, 02:20 AM I don't think it's a good ideal to give weapon upgrades to cons, that'd just made them another version of gren and rifle which would harmed the diversity in the game. I certainly don't want to see another blobs of LMG cons going around. Besides it would made Soviet become muni starve. Oh and Soviet already have a stock infantry that can scale well into mid late game: penals. Instead of changing cons, i suggest do something about penals and T1, or teching in general so that they can have a bigger role in the game. In: Lobby
