Thread: How does a German player deal with this?20 Feb 2014, 09:58 AM At 6 min 8 min and 10 min he was calling in a t34 at each time. I watched the replay cause I remember playing and the tank attacking me at just before 8 mins. Thinking holy shit! sheesh...had them built by that time 6, 8 and 10 min. In: COH2 Gameplay

He got one at 6 min...8 min and 10 min (like clockwork). I watched the replay and was pretty stunned when I saw the time frame. This was in a 2vs2 auto match....they were a team (played together and used voip). My team was me and a stranger vs them. Was rather amusing when he said he heard German scout car deals with the Russian scout car and sniper. Which it does...but at one minute into the game....I had nothing that to counter it. Thread: How does a German player deal with this?20 Feb 2014, 02:27 AM As a German player I am having a difficult time dealing with a 1 minute scout car w/sniper and followed by a 6 minute T34/76 Medium Tank? In the same game.... ....and then another T34/75 at 8 min mark. Damn..I might have this in the wrong forum section. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Rank//Removal of Stars19 Feb 2014, 22:07 PM With previous removal of rank and now the stars. Stars only gave you an idea of how many games a player played. However..they probably don't entirely suck by the time they are at 5. Unless Relic will state otherwise. Removing the stars is to prevent players from quitting at the load screen when a player saw ...stars on w/e team and decided I am out of here. After some thought...why isn't it bad or why is it? There is now nothing firing a player up for the game they am about to play...it now has totally removed any excitement a player may have gotten from the game about to played. Now it is just a blank feeling of...meh whats the point of this...player has no instant idea if they are doing better when winning or just lost to a superior player when losing a match. I find it ironic...We got Noun asking "Why don't you take part in tournaments?"<----which is all about rank and competitiveness.. Yet Relic continues to remove every kinda of information there is in auto-match that gives a feel for being competitive and to fire us up. In: Lobby
Thread: Rank//Removal of Stars19 Feb 2014, 20:45 PM Seems Relic find it easier to keep the players in the dark with just about everything pertaining to the game. With the star removal the only thing they can remove next is the names of players we play with or against in automatch. For fear we might start to remember the super good players or super bad players. Stars may not have been a good indicator of how good a player was...but it gave you an idea of how familiar with the game a player should be. I know when I saw a player with no star....I usually said ohhh shit! This could be tough....I never quit cause of it. But have seen players drop while screen was loading (in such circumstances). Player base must be getting real low ...for them to be taking such another petty actions like removing stars on load screen. In: Lobby

Thread: Call to action - Let's Be Awesome Together14 Feb 2014, 23:25 PM If COH1 hadn't been so good and COH2 hadn't ripped out just about everything most of the players enjoyed about COH1 (I say most...cause well look around)...people/players would be playing COH2. They wouldn't be on the forums bitching and moaning much about COH2. Instead they read the forums with hope. Give it time...the hope will fade away and the fanbois will remain. Too many things are missing from COH2 that made COH1 the game it was. It'll be amusing to watch Relic try to save this DLC P2W game and fail in utter futility. Thread: Revitalizing the COH2 community?9 Feb 2014, 21:27 PM The thing that utterly destroys the enjoyment of this game for me is the auto-match in COH2...after playing COH1 for 4 to 5 yrs. Can't select annihilation game format or map. Sorry Relic -I do no have any freaking friends on steam to do a custom game, nor am I interested in having to make new friends to do it. During the day I just want to sit down, crack a drink open, fire the comp up, fire the game up, select annihilation...perhaps map preference, hit auto-match and play for hours. For months now I have had to play VP and or play golf...golf is getting much better from a 22 handicap to a 15. COH2 play...mehh who cares. THB, as it is ...hardly playing it. Thinking back over the last 20 yrs...some of the RTS games and playing them online. Sorry if I get something wrong in the list. I could just go and find a game in a chat lobby/game list, join and play (usually annihilation). Never did play the SP in any of them. Warcraft 2 Starcraft 1 & 2 C&C 1,2 Red Alert, Zero Hour Supreme Commander Age of Empire 1 & 2 COH1 I can say COH2 is truly the only RTS game I have ever read the forums waiting for something to happen. All the others were just fun to play hour after hour for years. COH2 as it is is ----facepalm =( COH2 can't even pull me away from the room I have to go paint.
