Thread: panthers reload speed20 Jun 2016, 01:03 AM There's a reason the panther was nerfed down to the level it is in right now. To put it simply the panther can't have evertything. It's combination of speed, armor, and range already makes it more then capable of diving to kill tanks and escaping from potential threats. Better then anything the allies have, only the comet comes close and is still waeker in the AT department despite higher price. It has a low rate of fire to give the allied players a chance to actually react to it and save their armor, something that was found to be needed after years of axis having a pretty much uncontested late game advantage. But they somehow changed them and said it didn´t work that well. I believe they changed it because they had to scramble commanders to sell for sega. Tiger was always doctrinal and elephant was in T4. It was changed because it was OP and really unfair, especially since back then Ostheer had a really big late advantage. Like if you weren't winning before the first P4 hit odds were you weren't going to win. In: COH2 Gameplay

While the Sexton is way faster, better protected and will be better in the next update while the Land Martress' crew can be killed by a strafing run, it's slower and less protected than the Sexton. So yeah, rockets may be good but most of the vehicles they're mounted on are glass cannons that can be easily knocked out compared to the Self-Propelled Gun vehicles like the Hummel, Wespe, Priest and Sexton just because they're mounted on tank chassis and not on light half-track ones or pushed like the Nebelwerfer and Land Mattress. Calliope pretty much has the health and armor of a normal sherman. It's much more durable then the priest which will pretty much die to 2 shots of any at. It really doesn't apply to the point you are trying to make. In: COH2 Gameplay

Does anyone ever build pak43's? So easily decrewed and turned against you. I see them all the time in 2v2+. They can be real hard to deal with for the allies if they have no heavy arty, especially so on the OKW who have the flak HQ to protect it from infantry. Rocket arty doesn't even work because it will simply be remanned. It's especially difficult to deal with for USF's rifle, heavy cav, and airborne commanders who lack any sort of call-in arty or unit and even the M8 gets outranged by it. In: COH2 Balance

They didn't fix one of the most "frustrating" issues.. sim city.. They removed most the damage from the bofors barrage. It's mostly a pinning thing now and probably won't kill mortars and AT guns anymore. In: COH2 Balance
