Actually, Jackson and IS-2 is a really good combo.
C'mon, if you're going to be a hardcore Allied fanboy like I am, at least get the combos that do work well right...
It's a good combo, but a pak43, elephant, or Jagdtiger will stop it in it's tracks. There isn't anything on the allies that can reliably stop KT, tiger, or panther combos.
It might be possible, but it's not a very good idea. It would add more micro tax to already micro heavy game. Making it even harder for new players to get the hang of then it already is.
Blobs have a counter, it's called area of effect weapons. If blobs are performing too well it's because these weapons aren't performing well enough or because the units in the blob themselves are performing too well. If you want to fix blobs these are the areas that should be looked at. Not adding unnecessary mechanics to the game.
we don't really have ships with freaking laser in 2015 either. there are experimental ship and aircraft based lasers but, afaik, that's it.
I was joking mostly. But nothing says future like lasers.
The biggest advance in modern warfare has been the use of drones. Which has changed warfare a bit in the last few decades. Hence why they are building lasers to counter them.
the technological difference between 2015 and 1989 is minimal, particularly above infantry level.
also, as far as people who take NATO seriously right now, you gotta put Poland and Lithuania (or Estonia? baltic state politics is not something i keep up on...) on the list.
I wouldn't say that. We didn't have ships with freaking lasers in 1985.
It's so obvious that that all axis players care about is tanks. Because everyone who suggests a new german factionn completely forgets that they have no small arms left to use. More stg, schreks, and lmg42s? RElic would have to copy paste a infantry to get another faction since they used almost every combination between OKW and Wher already.
most Axles fans are accustomed to: click-click-I won.
fraction which is difficult to manage, requiring much more microinspection - disappoint Axis fans
I think it's more to do with them wanting even more german factions. Also, got to keep the axis pure you know. Can't have those inferior asian factions mixing with superior aryan factions.
By the way, I did a mock up of what a Japanese Faction could look like. It's from a while ago and I would change a few things now, but it's still good. For anyone wondering what one might look like: http://www.coh2.org/topic/17208/omega-s-japanese-faction
