Well, if you take a look at Dawn of War 2, that one had 6 factions to play after the second addon, and there you actually had all factions being playable against each and mirror games as well. Balance was very much improvable, but it was better than in CoH2 right now imho. Dawn of War 1 had even more I think, but I haven't played that game so I don't know how it was there. Thread: 'Random Army' Button6 Dec 2014, 16:10 PM Jump back to quoted post6 Dec 2014, 15:50 PMRupert The problem with the "random" faction is due to how the ladder queue system works with your bulletins/inventory. You can't be changing your inventory while in queue, so everything has to be pre-set before clicking queue. Which means having a "random faction" choice is useless because u'd have to stop and choose a inventory setup before pressing "search". It's not difficult to see why not, really.... So you could just set up a loadout for all your armies in the customizer before you start a search... if you didn't do it and choose random you get whatever layout you had for that army last time.
