This was a good game, but it was Odeng's to lose considering his guard rifle doctrine and tech choice offered little for the late game, outside of the ML-20. Some misuse of T-34s (i.e. using them as actual tanks LOL), meant that Hans was able to slowly crank out enough armour, while retaining support, to eventually come back.
On a serious note, regarding the T-34s, Odeng neglected to ram/finish off the vetted p4 when opportunities were presented. Vet 2+ P4s will just laugh at soviet t2-3 play if they are used sensibly.
Hans did really well keeping his pioneers around to fix engines when the rams did start flying around, and being cautious in general with his vehicles against all those ATGs and tanks.
Was cool to see the howitzer used (there was an engagement between the Northern muni and VP where it could have been used to deny the command tank flanking the 2 crippled T-34s, (A barrage was placed, but not very well). Another point of interest was Odeng back-teching to T2 when he saw that he wasn't quite able to kill Hans off. Had he gone T4, he would have won the game though (I feel Hans won the armour battle, and thus won the game).
Sorry for the soviet-focused comments, but that is mah faction
Overall a fun watch.
