Pathfinding Vehicles will now be less likely to enter a tight spot, thereby reducing the occurrences of on-the-spot pivots In the following example, the Jackson can't drive through the gap between the two hedges, he rather prefers the scenic route along the dotted line. (The move order is right in front of him) And i don't think thats a problem with the map... That doesn't seem like a good solution to the on-the-spot pivot problem. Thread: Patch September 9th, 201410 Sep 2014, 00:27 AM I think i quite like most of the patch... first impressions from playing a couple games are: -Kübelwagen seems very strong now; 40 range + suppression is really brutal -251/17 drastically more viable (Puma + 251/17 is a vicous combo) -Bazooka nerf very unnecessary -MG facing bug still there... -1919s cost 70 munitions now (Ninja change?) Thread: A quick tiger 2 take down.5 Sep 2014, 14:09 PM AT guns. Use the "take aim" ability at vet1 to gain 70 range. With "premium" rounds and vet they can easily take on even the heaviest vehicles. Don't underestimate them! Jacksons are also very good, but must be kept outside of the Jagdtigers/Elephants range. There are not much more options besides that. Rear echelon blob with lots of bazookas can somewhat work against medium tanks but it is nothing i would recommend against the Tiger 2. The smoke grenade from riflemen can slow vehicles down, if hit directly - keep that in mind. In: Strategy Desk
Thread: ISU SquadWipe-Foundation5 Sep 2014, 13:48 PM ISU wipes squads regularly, the big AOE means they dont even necessarily have to sit on each other. Sibs recent "Sweet Jesus" replay showed the impact it can have even on 6 men squads that are fairly spread out. There also was a Raketenwerfer in this game, trying to combat the ISU, which was the saddest thing i've seen in a long time. I don't think relic is able to change the unit formation in a way that prevents squadwipes, the AI will always find a way to clump up. Another solution would be to drastically reduce the one-shot killing potential of the ISU and add the side effect to "shellshock" every infantry unit in the near vacinity, giving them a short debuff in terms of movement and attack power - or simply straight out suppress. That way the ISU is good against infantry and fulfills its role, but not in an annoying squad-wipe way. In: COH2 Balance

I felt the USF could have used more call in arty and stayed on the Priests, but then the USF team were probably laughing too much to think about much more than making more REblob. GG and fun to watch Laughing was a big part of our gameplan. We imagined Hans reaction to it, playing all strategically and what not, while we were doing the exact opposite. Regarding RE spam: It's a troll tactic. It completely get's shut down by any aggression before you can even reach 3CPs, because RE basically have no damage output without LMGs. LMGs and 1919s in particular are the root of the problem, and this game shows it perfectly. The weakest unit in the game suddenly becomes extremely cost efficient and can fight even Obersoldaten manpower-efficiently, which is absolutely backwards. In: Replays
