Thread: USF officer bonuses and paratroopers15 Oct 2014, 14:51 PM So my teammate keeps telling me to get a captain instead of lieutenant when I'm going airborne because of bonuses it gives. It apparently increases accuracy for the lieutenant and armor for the captain. However I've never seen this mentioned anywhere and it if indeed gives bonuses how does it work exactly? is it required to keep the officer close like the terror officer, or is it simply about having him alive somewhere on the map. Thread: Pershing Madness14 Oct 2014, 21:58 PM I don't really want to see the jackson buffed, that thing already destroys any medium armor with ease and can handle tiger and panthers with micro. Maybe their hvap shells ability should be a bit cheaper but that's it. The problem lies in their other AT options. Bazookas are just terrible; they cant hit light vehicles and do negligblie damage to medium tanks, if they even manage to penetrate. The atgun is again good against medium armor, but is in a unviable tier with niche units. Also Volks need new veterancy levels, no more ridiculous received accuracy. It would also help if pack howitzer, stuart, bars and the 50cal were good units In: COH2 Balance

In my playtime I found you typically have 1 minute of "free reign" to hunt the kubel when there is 1 schrek, after that the puma hits the field. You should have enough munitions to get armored skirts (a must) and to plant 1 atmine. THe trick to bait into a corner and get the bazooka crew out ive seen performed but ive never really succeeded with it. Bazookas need better accuracy, im okay with their bad penetration and damage but they should have at least one redeeming feature over the schrek for 60 munitions. Ok i think they reload faster but still In: COH2 Balance

Demo charge comes in handy especially against okw trucks also lol at elite troops and listing penals as option also are you going to balance this faction in any way, because it is going to get the most powerful stuff in every category. 50 popcap? Thread: Learning better micro 13 Oct 2014, 07:02 AM Jump back to quoted post13 Oct 2014, 06:37 AMTNrg Sometimes attack move might be good, but if you have the time and multitasking skills you should always manually micro your units to stay at range and use better cover. Using attack move extensively can result in situations where your long range units stop in the middle of red cover to engage a unit resulting in them taking too mucn unnecessary damage. I guess this might work well with units like mortars though. Other points are very much true though, especially autohotkey is a really useful tool. But you get multiple notifications (bar, flashing icon, minimap, voicelines) when your attack moving squad gets into combat, so you can react almost instantly, then you can decide what to do with them. I think the best way to keep track is to regularly watch the top right bar, when a squad gets low you can select it and retreat it without needing to switch your camera to that spot. and use control groups for important units!
