This patch is looking quite solid but in order for it to be truly competitive it needs at least some of the following: 1 - Less RNG (no more vehicle death crits/abandons - losing a game on a 5% chance is stupid. Or in a more recent tourney game my opponents got THREE vehicle death crits on important vehicles, without that they would have lost 100%) I don't know I quite like abandoned vehicles, heavy engine damage from infantry snares is stupid but abandons are quite exciting and create a new fight about a vehicle. If you support your vehicle and it get's abandoned you should have no problem destroying it. That being said I wouldnt be opposed to give abandoned vehicles the immobilized status In: Lobby

Thread: Open Beta first impressions22 Oct 2014, 09:27 AM The beta seems to perform much worse for me, long black screen between loading and starting the game. alt tabbing no longer is instantly but a painful resolution switch fest. Plus the freezes seem to occur more often. I play at the same settings But bars are now nice, riflemen can now do something mid/late game. the captain is able to hit the kubel with bazookas and the high price for the 50cal is finally justified with proper controls and retreat. jagdtiger funny enough seems to occasionaly snipe infantry now but he might've always done that. Never used it much. havent tried OKW and the vanilla factions are locked afaik. Really wanted to test the new strafes In: COH2 Balance

Please switch the Battlephases and building costs so teching to t4 is easier. T3 get's shut down pretty hard by the US with their jacksons In: COH2 Balance

Relic will totally overhaul the way side armor works in this game, and we'll have to totally rethink the way we think about side armor. Some tanks will get a side armor nerf, while others will get MASSIVE side armor buffs. I have no idea which ones will get the buffs or nerfs to side armor and I'm excited to find out.
