We've considered increasing their health to 48 or just accepting it. Let us see how it plays out and we'll go from there. edit: keep in mind Soviets already suffered from this overkill. Thread: Complaint/rant about soviet heavy armor2 Sep 2013, 20:15 PM Thanks for the feedback bigchunk1. We delayed on adjusting heavy tanks purposefully. They are late game units which will be impacted by early to mid game changes. So until we felt the early-mid game was in a good state, we held off on changes to the late game. That said, we have adjustments in the pipeline which we feel pretty good about. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Relic should see this2 Sep 2013, 20:13 PM Thanks for the feedback Arac, it sounds like your main concerns boils down to the MG42 being too dominant early game given how difficult it is to counter. Know that we're working on this issue as well as a few other early game tweaks which should add more variety to early game strategies. I remember a few weeks back we were definitely seeing heavy MG42 spam being used game after game. After recognizing this, we sat down and reviewed the units role and performance. Needless to say, two weeks later we were definitely noticing more variety in the strategies being deployed. The MG42 remained a serious threat on the field, but had its weaknesses and counters. Summary; I feel we added more meaningful choice to the early game which in turn made the early game to mid game more interesting. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Patch Notes 20/08/201321 Aug 2013, 00:59 AM @Blovski - Just to clarify I said the StuG is a strong counter to the T34, not that it performs better vs. the T34 than the SU-85. For the time being, no changes are planned that will modify the performance of the StuG vs. the SU-85; at least in a direct manner. The SU-85 is designed to be better than the StuG in terms of AT, given it has a higher cost and higher AT allocation. A SU-85 requires 3 shots to kill a StuG unless it is vet 2. A StuG requires 4 shots to kill an SU-85. Also keep in mind target weak point is a guaranteed penetration, meaning a vet 1 StuG can still be relevant vs. heavier armor. In: Lobby
