(At least the first T34, Panzer 4, or any Tier4 tank, costs the same, considering investment) Moreover, a callin may be chosen, but only if the opponent does not seem to have decent AT to counter it. Tier3 or 4 is a serious investment, that can be countered more approriately with at guns. I might get 2 T-34s before a Tiger runs in, against an opponent of my skill. But I'd need to backtech to Zis if I want to deal with it without losing at least 1 or 2 of them...Simply makes it easier to go for Shermans, 85s or whatever..They allow my army to be much more adaptable. @coh2player I like going T1 start, with penals and scout car. Your statement means I'm forced to go for tier 2 as well, and a commander that has call ins. I consider that decreasing my fun of trying other commanders . I'd just like to play with decent tech too. I used to go tier 3, but paks just come out easily after the AC and my T70 is useless (at least its dangerous to micro it), moreover, he will probably make a second AT as soon as he notices my T3 and then I have to backtech to get some arty... No, I prefer Tier4 as soviets atm, going for the second unit (what's it called?) so I get two of them, and their arty ability takes care of blobs and/or PAKs. Mines do sweep hard on infantry. Although it happens more often when the squad is down to 3, i think even then mines are a bitch. Same goes for those AI mines the axis can place, they take ages to swipe... In: COH2 Balance

There is no problem with that I guess? I have never seen such squad wipes you're talking about, just a 3 men kill, but for that, many of my mines have been detected. In: COH2 Balance

This is called COMPANY OF HEROES 2. So yes, people may compare it to the predecessor if they like. What's up with bashing on people comparing similar game mechanics to COH1 like it was some kind of shit game everybody hated? I say make soviet mines cost 60 munitions and place 4 little signs around them. Then they may wipe as many squads that manage to walk over them, and blow up a freaking tiger for all I care... Seriously though, 30 munitions for an allround mine is just way to cheap for what it does, just like S-Mines build way to fast. get a mine sweeper. In: COH2 Balance
