Thread: sound BAR20 Apr 2015, 06:55 AM speaking of sound effects, does anybody know what sound file it is where whoever was recording knocked the microphone or kicked an amp. It sounds like a bullet smashing a mirror inside a giant hall. its a horrible sound effect that I assume has been left on the end of a sound effect used in the game. when I hear it, im always like wtf? Yeah I don't think that's in a file somewhere. It's probably the result of some bug in the audio engine. In: COH2 Gameplay

But I don't think giving it HE shells is a solution that makes any sense, since that'd imply that the current shells are AP, and I have not often seen that thing penetrating armor. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's scatter distance is only 1.4 higher than that of the Tigers and they both have the same scatter angle. But it does have a much less harsh AoE profile making 1 shots with the IS2 more common than with the Tiger. It 1 shots if it's able to hit its target. But that's a rare phenomenon. I don't care if there's a difference of 1.4 or 1.4*10^9, the Tiger will hit infantry far more often than the IS-2. In: COH2 Balance

But it IS the best. It's not as good as it was, but you can't deny it's still absolutely the best heavy tank in the game. I'd gladly give up the IS-2s speed for the KT's main gun. Destroying an AT gun in a single shot with it isn't unusual. Actually hitting something (well, infantry) with the IS-2 is. In: COH2 Balance

But also a much better maingun. KT is absolutely still worth the price. It's just that call-in meta is broken, but that has been for a while now, and hasn't specifically gotten worse with the armor nerf of the KT. In: COH2 Balance
