Thread: Mobile Defense Com and Pak 43 (ninja) changes?9 Oct 2014, 19:26 PM Its great...my personal favorite commander in 1v1 vs USF I find every ability and call in extremely effective. I dont always go for Ostruppen, it depends on the situation but..Pumas destroy any vehicle, light (AAHT and M20) and medium armored (although at range). The command Tank is also great for holding territory with the defense modifier and is a great infantry killer. Ill go: 3-4 Grens, 1-2 HMGS,2x PAK40s, ,Pgrens, 2x Pumas, Command Tank. This deals with anything US has. (altho I must say while this is quite strong at the 20min mark, i HAVE lost to longer games where US got 3-4 EZ8s....those are a problem!) Quick capping and smoke are very useful obviously! The only thing that is absent is some sort of call in artillery...if it had that it would be OP! XD somehow ...I cant use it effectively vs Soviets....probably because of Heavy Armor. If anyone has a good strat using this against soviets, Id love to hear it. In: Ostheer Strategies

Even though the t2 is only 15 fuel, I'd rather wait (if possible of course) for my p4, and then build t2 and spend my spare manpower. 2)The mortar ht is a strong unit, but I don't wanna delay my tiger or p4 by 2 minutes since the mortar costs 50 fuel. And a regular mortar only costs manpower, of which I had plenty. 3) Mobility. With 2 tigers I can use one to control the mid, and use the other to shut down harrasment or harras myself. Thread: Symbiosis vs RunToTheSun5 Oct 2014, 03:57 AM Great game! ...but I have to ask (and please know I am not criticizing but only looking for insight..I am aware these players are much better than me) Warning: Slight Spoilers Ahead As a Wer player.. 1- Why would you wait 15 minutes to build a Pak and PGren Squad ?? Isnt this standard in both match ups? Why float 800+ manpower? What does Symbiosis know that I dont? 2- Why not build the mortar HT if your going with this doctrine?? But build the standard mortar team instead?? Just the incendiary barrage itself makes it worth it...plus it is more accurate. 3- Why build a 2nd Tiger when your facing this kind of composition?? Wouldn't 2 paks have been better option? I feel the T34s would've gone down way earlier. Trying to get better at this game...so if some of you good players have feedback on this..Id love to know...because logically I dont get it. To me with these choices the game wouldve been over much sooner. In: Replays

Features : Spearhead Doctrine commander vs good old Shock Rifle Frontline Tactics commander (really is best Soviet commander IMO) Am really loving the Spearhead Doctrine vs Soviets, it has everything needed to deal with what can be thrown at you. Favorite unit has to be the Mortar Half Track, even over Tiger (which does come in to play in this replay . This unit is just so damn good...precise too, for indirect fire, and the Incendiary Mortar Barrage is so damn useful! . It denies ANY soviet (or US) stationary weapon teams, and wrecks buildings ...and I mean wrecks them completely in one shot (buildings WILL fully catch fire and crumble) . This replay is very heavy on infantry fighting (which is what I prefer) , so if that is your thing, then you might enjoy! In: Replays
Thread: GrW 34 Mortar Team bugged?2 Oct 2014, 17:02 PM Ive been doing both...auto attack and Barrage. And I tried many distances....they are just way off...am I the only one getting this? I mean srsly...2 mortars?? 0 kills...another game I had the same issue..but only had one..and it still finished with 0 kills. When looking at replay (which I now realize I will have to play a mtch and post one here) I see the mortar shells landing very far off, with or without barrage. In: Ostheer Strategies

Thread: GrW 34 Mortar Team bugged?2 Oct 2014, 02:36 AM Ok I wasn't sure at first....but using them again..they are completely bugged! I use these quite often and since latest patch, they seemed off...i watched a few of the games I played and the German Mortar teams cannot hit anything. Even at point blank range they are VERY far off target. Even with barrage ability. Im finishing games with dual mortar teams with 0 kills on both....now I KNOW this was not the case before patch. Did they get major nerf?? Am I the only one getting this?? In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: Viable OH commanders? For 1v1 and 2v2, mixed or double26 Sep 2014, 14:48 PM for 1v1 ...Im loving the Puma commander...its a bit harder to pull off vs Soviets...but it destroys USF. And even vs Soviets...with 2 pumas and 2 ATgun (which is my late game composition) ...you'll tear through any heavy armor (outrange most of em too). Ill often skip T3 with this commander...relying on my At composition to deal with armor...and go straight for T4 (when game exceeds 20-25mins). Works like a charm. In: Ostheer Strategies
