Thread: T-70's range21 Jun 2013, 02:37 AM Early T-70 is nearly unstoppable by German now. Pak40 never can be a counter to T-70. There is even a bulletin that requires 150 AT member kills by T-70. A single teller mine can destroy T-70 but it is unreliable. PzGrens with schreck are just being kited to death and German tier 3 tanks appear too late. I think T-70's range should be reduced from 40m to 35m, same as Panzerschreck. Seriously, in what universe 45mm 20K L/46 has the same range with 88mm KwK36 L/56(Tiger's)? In: COH2 Balance

The devs need to balance things appropriately to make it fun and competitive. Realism has its place in simulations, but we must not forget that real life is not balanced. A game has to be balanced. And I know that balance is more important than historical accuracy. But it is nice to pretend to be realistic, especially in WW2 games. I just want that Panzerfaust have a little longer range than RPG-43, probably 20m as in the last version. Currently, it is nearly impossible to stop Soviet's early map control with clown cars. 20mm AC delays Panzerschreck so much and you cannot deal with T-70 follow-up after the patch. Thread: Panzerfaust vs RPG-4314 Jun 2013, 14:10 PM I think Panzerfaust should have longer range than RPG-43 for three reasons. 1. Grenadiers don't have Oorah. 2. Sometimes Panzerfaust hits the ground dealing no damage, whereas RPG-43 never misses. (If it does, let me know please.) 3. It is nonsense that Panzerfaust and hand-thrown grenade have the same range. Historically, Panzerfaust had at least 30m range and AT grenades were effective only in very close range. (Of course it depends on conscripts' strength.) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 1 engi or 2 engis?10 Jun 2013, 02:43 AM Hello, I'm new to CoH and starting to learn. Do you run 1 engineer or 2 engineers? With only 1 engineer, I find difficult to manage all the tasks such as tech-up and building fuel caches. If I start with additional engineer, however, my early cap power weakens compared to 3-4 conscripts without engineer. I can recover with flamer scout car later but I guess early dominance snowballs hard in this game. So I wonder if there is a good time to add second engineer. In: COH2 Gameplay
