Thread: When do you use attack-move?28 Aug 2014, 02:09 AM The Question here is: Attackmove everything blob lololol yolo, or the normal a-click? Because you should always a-click if you send units into the fog of war. It's not as bad as in Starcraft, were your units don't attack on the move at all, but still if you run past the enemy your units wont shoot. And most importantly, you get to close to your enemy, and thats never good when you don't micro them, because then they die fast. If you attackmove, your units will stop at max range, and you have plenty of time to check in on them. Right click is only if you want to run into cover under fire. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: ESL + Observer mode confirmed22 Aug 2014, 23:08 PM The observermode I always wanted would probably be the Dota2 one. It has everything you can wish for. The newest feature (Dota2) is that you can watch live, and during that you can jump back and rewatch something, and then go with x2 untill you are in /jump to -the current action again. Also nice Dota2 features I would love: Playercamera. Fog of War 1. Generally no fog of war/the observer can toggle it, but 3 min Delay. This would be for joining other peoples automatch games. Fog of War 2. You could join your friend (he has to invite you), and then you have exactly his perspective or you have his Fog of War. No delay. Friends camera would only give the same advantages, as if you were in his house. His fog of war could give you a small edge because "you" can look at two places at once. (This is the Coaching system in Dota). Fog of War 3. Custom games: Everything goes for the Observers. But in the End i am happy with any kind of Observermode for CoH2^^ In: Lobby

Carbines excel at close/mid range for cost- for example the Grenadier G43 outstrips the normal Kar98k at close, improves somewhat at mid, and drops DPS at max range. With Panzerfusiliers the same applies- huge close range boost, negligible long range increase in performance. So with JLI, closing in is not advisable with normal rifle-armed squads. There's no similarity with the COH1 upgrade, so drawing parallels with the original G43 is kinda pointless. Of course the downside is that besides Guards, nothing in the Soviet arsenal can really take advantage of the 'poor' performance of carbines at range, since their units are all geared to close range anyway... but that's a separate issue to be dealt with. On the other hand, if you don't have guards, you will probably have Shocks, who own JLI. In: COH2 Balance
