Thread: Ostheer Stormtrooper Upgrades19 Jan 2016, 07:10 AM i suggest a couple of improvements. first the g43s.. They use the grendier version of g43s which have 0.43/0.63 F/N accuracy which makes them output same damage as the kar98k at long range. However the pgren version if g43 has 0.56/0.78 accracy which makes them far better at long range. You can think of it as gren g43s with vet2 enabled by default. now if stormtroppers are allowed to upgrade the pgren version of the g43s, thier damage and surviavbility will be greater then vet3 grens by default. Ofc once stormtroopers get to vet2 the pgren G4s will become very good and will have higher damage output then obersoldaten K98s at long range. I think most people will love it. tl;dr let them upgrade the pgren version of g43s and lower vet requirements. In: COH2 Gameplay

Let the crew die, but allow the player to recrew the weapon and repair it so you either need to drop double bombs on the gun or a concentrated assault is needed to kill the weapon. this is a very good idea. Also I would like to suggest that doctrines with heavy tank destroyers should not have counter to emplacements. for example elefant doctrine shouldent have stuka, so that artillery peices can be used against super heavy destroyers. SIMILARLY isu docs shouldent have il2 bombs to 1 shot pak43s. In: COH2 Balance

I still don't see any reason why anyone would go for it with StGs and their amazing ability. myabe because stgs are mid-close combat guns and the ability requires munitions to use, however the g43s are good replacements for thier normal kar98ks, so its an overall proper upgrade whilst keeping the decent long range damage, AND it allows you to upgrade panzerschrek too so In: COH2 Gameplay
