Thread: Are we not going to talk about AA pricing?17 Oct 2014, 21:35 PM Joke! I bought both WFA armies separately (had to because I bought the USF prematurely after getting 3 OKW codes at razzed In Birmingham only to have them all be already In use) so I payed 30 quid for two multiplayer armies, the funds of which we're going towards financing the SP campaign. I thought this a bit steep (how unreasonable of me) and now I'm being asked to pay for the tacked-on singleplayer campaign which I thought my purchase had already funded. Please excuse my french. Fuck off. Beltfed wombat. Stand your ground. This is a forum... Where you discuss things... So go ahead, discuss how ridiculously idiotic this pricing campaign is... Oh wait OCTOBER PATCH SMOKEANDMIRRORS FREE MAPS... (Excuse me). BFW is right. This shit is insulting. Thread: Ardennes Assault - features into MP?2 Oct 2014, 16:40 PM Are we paying for this new campaign or what? I bought both factions separately (after both the OKW codes I got at Rezzed were already in use... thanks for that..) and so I paid as much for those two mp items as I did for vanilla Coh2. That is of course sans singleplayer campaign so I'm wondering, do I also have to buy this campaign? As far as AA content reaching multiplayer all I can hope for is some new maps that clearly have OKW's wonky design in consideration when being made. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: The worst enemy in the game: Pathfinding6 Aug 2014, 16:43 PM I have myself encountered laughable instances where you have a tank that takes a hit after which you order a quick reverse move, nothing happens so you issue a forward move command to get out of dodge before it dies only for the tank to start reversing, at which point you try to order another reverse move to continue and the damn thing starts to move forward.. then gets wasted.. You know it's a sad state of affairs when the units aren't keeping up with my micro... I'd really love to see some of that WFA profit go into paying some of the programmers some overtime to get these issues fixed. That would be nice. In: COH2 Balance

This. REs with that 5th man become a really nice AT utility squad late on in the game. By keeping them at least somewhat near a jackson you can use them as both a spotting unit as well as a light AT deterrent and against armour that 5 man just adds that extra safety net against being wiped. if you do this, you can give your rifles BARS/1919s and make them dedicated AI to run interference with anything that might want to harm your REs. It's a nice combined arms approach. also, Dem Vet 1 57mms In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Assault Engineers and Vehicle Crews are Useless4 Aug 2014, 17:07 PM Love assault engineers. That Crew thompson ability is baffling to me. I don't think I've been able to use them (nor even been compelled to even try) in a game. Should be replaced by the ability for infantry units to ride on tanks, with an accuracy penalty to prevent kangaroo syndrome and a chance for models to be killed if the tank is hit by AT fire or runs over a mine. this would really fit more into the mobile/utility aspect of that commander.
