Working around it, Panther, P4, Jagdpanzer, Tiger, Sturmtiger, King Tiger, Mortar Halftrack, Jagdtiger, Flame HT, Inc. nades+schrecks. |
From what I hear the 222 is currently overperforming. I think it comes early but not too early. It should have a window of opportunity, but I do think the low fuel costs allows it to be spammed. They might want to consider reverting the gun upgrade change. Investing muni will prevent ostheer from throwing it away like that.
As my tip: I mostly play 2vs2 as brit and rush out my AEC, play compact and mine up my compact area. |
What you say is a flak halftrack can replace the missing AT?
I agree that it should receive a small buff to make it more viable, but i think your logic is flawed. |
all these people wishing for coh1 units
and then call relic lazy and cash grabbers for recycling their first coh |
That's what I thought too, but a single infantry section in cover seems to hold off 2 osttruppen squads and osttruppen don't have grenades.
Maybe I wasnt clear enough. Try not to engage directly, but instead, cap where the brit isnt. |
Im not much of a 1vs1 player but from what I get from oststruppen is that they are super cheap and fast to reinforce. Brits imo, lack field presence. Go all over the map and keep cutting him off.

I think this is a l2p issue. You only attacked it once which was executed poorly. Luchs was out in the open, no proper escape, which is why you lost it. Also nothing to follow up after the brace ended. 2 volk squads with incendiary nades would clear it. Covered by the P4.
Now the overal game I quickly watched.
You had map and resources dominance but stayed defensive the entire time. Letting that mortarpit (double mortar, close range to the VP), shoot your double volk squad over and over. Bleeding you manpower, while the P4 was chilling in the back when your opponent capped the left hand side. After the P4 you went for Obers and waited out till KT, by which point, your opponent had enough resources to get a cromwell and 2 comets. I dont think it was over at this point, but you gave your opponent too much time. You went for stuka (to counter the mortar pit?). While I wouldve went for Jagdpanzer to deal with the double comet and AEC.
It also looked like you forgot about the left VP, you kept walking into your own grave.
I agree mortar pit is sick at dealing with infantry. But it only is, when you let it be. It was close range and very accurate. Tough luck but nothing which couldnt have been prevented. |
Is it changing? |
• Added StG 44 Package. Grants the squad two StG 44s that improve short-mid range combat for 60 munitions.
Shettt, looks like Volkblobs will be all the anti-infantry OKW needs now.
Only thing they lack is non fuel reliable AT. Guess you gotta rush Puma or Panther. |
How do you risk such an expensive unit in urban areas?
Roads are my favourite place to lay mines and demos, or a mine and demo together especially cross roads.
Plus you never know what's around the next building... could be 2 jacksons waiting to tear you a new arsehole or 3
Dont risk it, scout or dont get it at all ^^ |
