That is a bad argument. In a tank battle where it's sometimes just better to sit and exchange blows, a Brummbär should not be able to keep your medium moving and force reduced accuracy that way. But the more realistic scenario is that a Brummbär could engage snared mediums and pen with at least 2/3 chance. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet T0 medic replace by Heal Aura？28 Sep 2019, 22:10 PM My honest opinion: I don't think the problem is big enough to change it and (potentially) introduce bugs. I think it mostly effects larger modes where mass retreats are more frequent. Aura would help SOV to get the units back on the field more quickly. In smaller modes not much would change. So in total, SOV would get a bit more map presence. Not sure if that's needed, because SOV seems pretty fine at the moment. But it's also hard to tell how much of a difference that would really make. SOV healing could get a little touch, but I think a second option similar to the OST half track would be best. In: COH2 Balance

But he means the UKF emplacement abiliity (green shield icon, weapons disabled for damage reduction) To the subject: I don't get why the Brummbär should have decent penetration. It's worth its price in AI capability, so why should it also have the chance to deal decent damage against mediums while it already has (according to someone posting earlier) deflection damage? This does not make a lot of sense. Against lights, sure, but a medium should not be threatened to be damaged by normal shots. However, I'd argue for high penetration for the bunker busting barrage because the Brummbär here behaves more like the AVRE/Sturmtiger. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: about okw medikit25 Sep 2019, 19:23 PM We recently had a thread about this where I needed to redirect the discussion towards it. Just a quick note about OKW: OKW does NOT pay extra for their stuff and they also do NOT get their weapon upgrades (StG etc) for "free" if you consider the total tech cost up to T4. Their big advantage is that they do save a lot of resources mostly in the MP department at the beginning of the game which allows for high map presence. This is the biggest part of OKWs early game aggression. They pay for their StGs with higher tech costs later on and the fact that USF/UKF upgrades (side techs) are usually a little bit stronger than theirs which costs MP if the game drags on. But now, back to the medkit topic: OP has given no argument what so ever to why the med kit should be delayed. At the moment I think the timing is alright. Backteching for OKW is quite expensive. So if you commit to T2 + med kits that's quite a mun drain. In: COH2 Balance

I think spawning them in with 3 models is not a problem, just the total MP cost (including reinforcements) should stay below 400. I think something like 370 would be fair, which would make the 3 man squad approx 300 MP to spawn in. The three man squad is an interesting alternative, because it provides higher risk/reward than for example stormtroopers while not being broken at the moment In: COH2 Balance
