Yes, about half of the shot at long range will bounce against the front of a regular medium, but all of the shot will be made in safety. If we are talking about the advanced medium there's a big difference in price. Even then the Puma can still fire from safely (except against the comet). As long as you don't get overly aggressive a puma can fire away at the target all day. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The AEC needs a buff7 Dec 2015, 11:53 AM Jump back to quoted post6 Dec 2015, 15:20 PMZyllen what a load of bull. both units are basically flankers when it comes to medium tanks, their is no fucking way a puma can win against a t-34 even when kiting. the puma have superior penetration superior sight superior range superior top speed superior acceleration superior DPS superior coaxial (the one mg42 on the puma is better than the two mg on the t34 up until 0-10 meters) the t34 have better hp better armor better AOE The puma is a unit made specifically to kite. It's fast with long line of sight and a gun to use that sight. Saying the Puma is purely a flanker is ignore the potential of its 50 meter sight and 50 meter range gun. The puma can easily kit a t34 or sherman, assuming that's no zis or su85 nearby. 95% of the time you won't get more than one AEC, therefore the sidetech cost can be applied, unlike the p4 which does not require sidetech and is often built in quantities of 2 or more. designing a unit that you would only consider get one of is a bit flawed. The AEC should be a unit that you would actually considering getting an extra one if the first one die. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Initial December Patch Balance Thoughts and Suggestions7 Dec 2015, 01:21 AM AEC: Needs a significant manpower reduction to light vehicle levels to help the manpower hungry brits. -Price to 240-260 manpower and 50 fuel. -Give it 0.75 moving accuracy to improve it capabilities when chasing other light units down which is its role. This would help combat fast light vehicles which are more effective against Brits who have no snares unlike the other two Allied factions and have really only manpower hungry options to deal with something like a Luchs. a unit useful only against light vehicle is useless. It's the same reason why the puma is also good against tank, the stuart is a good generalist, and the ptrs/boys at rifle are good against infantry. All of those units are good against light vehicle in addition to other uses. the AEC needs 50 range just like the puma in order to be useful. Tommies: When in cover, give them 0.8 received accuracy, 0.9 when in the open. They already got veterancy nerfs, they should be able to hold their ground in cover better due to their higher cost over other infantry. the tommies' dependency on cover was seriously overblown. The penalty's effect on the lee-enfield was minimal. The main purpose of the cover penalty was in fact to limit the strength of a roving bren blob. actually limiting the tommies into fighting in cover is not an improvement. In: COH2 Balance

FAST tech cost is problem. of all the unit in the okw arsenal, the king tiger is probably the one unit that benefit the most from the fuel income buff. going from 390 fuel to 260 fuel is a huge decrease in price. the fact that it's a call in also mean you skip the production time. Thread: can't reload into coh2 after exiting6 Dec 2015, 10:42 AM basically, I can load into coh2 after restarting the computer, but I can't load back into coh2 if I exited the game. the game lock after the title screen but before the SEGA logo movie play. I need to restart the computer again if I want to load into coh2. In: COH2 Bugs

The ability affect the game just by its presence alone. Axis vehicles in general can be significantly more daring and aggressive against British because they don't need to worry about snare or a tracking projectile. In: COH2 Gameplay
