Heck USF simply ignores this and get free repairs/popcap cheat. And yes USF and UKF have non-doc smoke. Smoke canister is a skill shot that is required for Axis meta these days against oppressive 60Td. Nothing more nothing less. In: COH2 Balance

The thing about ptac is its an wz panic escape. It is undeniably better as an escape ability. Which, when combined with high armour values and blitz makes it even more potent. But seeing as you would like an offensive ability, something discussed last time ptac was talked about was the smoke shooting ahead of the tank instead of on the tank. Naturally you would support this entirely because then it could be used offensively and would thus be better right? Im talking panzer tactian, any delay to it makes no sense. It is needed against high pen values, high range, high damage. What high armour value is left besides panthers? Tigers are too slow to escape artist. In: COH2 Balance

The Axis are grossly outmatched in that engagement. IS-2, SU-85, SU-85, Jackson and Jackson versus Tiger, StuG and Panther. (Spoiler alert: the Allies brought over 1.5x as much value into that fight) Axis lost 2 stugs, 2 tigers, 1 vet3 panther, 1 ht, 1 pwafer, some pgrens and 1 frag bombs Alles lost 2 su85. Some questions. How is the cost of getting shrek pg, pak, stug, panther/wafer, tiger? Vs jackson, is2, su85 How did 60td make a mockery of axis tech up armour now? Axis had been leading before hand. Allies even throw away a jackson at 44m mark. How did allies managed to amass those tanks 1 min later? If i am wehr i would think twice with another panther beforehand. Cost effective reasons with double Jackson on field. Besides the wehr player was short on fuel and mp. The 60 tds were firing away just before the push. Free hits like nothing. Does it not alarm all, all it cost them was 2 su85? Just simply using is2 armor, simply moving the 60td down the lane? Isnt it ez mode? In: Lobby

The idea that you're "choosing" a doctrine for just panzer tact is absurd But you dont even need to "choose" 60Td. I like how some are trying to paint Axis tanks are so good, that a doctrine smoke makes them somehow Op? So doctrine smoke, needs cp, waste muni, has cool down, and doesnt save you if you got snared, or somehow your 60td dont chase, dont attack ground? Panzer tactician is no different than a skill shot. Hardly a "Free" get out of jail card. Let stop killing uniqueness and trying to nerf Axis to further 14ft to the ground In: COH2 Balance

Except grens have even less utility, cost more to reinforce and their faust needs line of sight and has longer delays and they are up against higher dps infantry. So Cons now get late game buff while grens get none. The RD for RA i wont say is comparable to the free buff of 7men and its vet bonus. It is always a buff here for Axis, but needs another nerf somewhere... In: COH2 Balance

Sherman smoke pot and Cromwell smoke shell both have a delay before effect. Well Allies have 60Td which virtually pen all stock units, so you have "Ez pea-shooters" vs doctrine smoke. I think it is nonsense to remove another Axis ability of doctrine smoke. Like 60Td aint enough to hard counter Axis tanks these days? In: COH2 Balance

And to say cons where enough but people dint try hard enough is BS. Bye this logic you dont try enough with ost, their entire roster is sollid including doctrines. They could not attack any inf nor hold them off their dps late game was pathetic when compared. At one point they got a redicoulous 60% rec acc buff with vet only to allow a snare attempt. All that utility and recc acc evaporated in the late game except oorah and at nades. So worth 240 mp muni drain vet time high mirco and side tech. Bundles brums and even rifle nades can one shot them. Pgrens volks obers mop the floor with them, no f×××× given. Volks have very simaler levels off utility but beat them at every stage off the game. Cons are only more durable if you dont take grenades and ai upgrades into account. I posted my views after the buff. Search my history. As for in game, in my 2v2 games, yes i see less Cons before. I also thought Cons are unviable from what i read on forums complaints. I believe other players back then thought so too. But after watching the Wc19. Cons were holding their own BEFORE spending for upgrades. Against Volks, against Grens. AFTER spending the upgrade, they hold too well, too well more than Grens for sure. So i guess i am wrong. Top players showed Cons do work as they are intended before buffs were really needed. In: COH2 Balance
