For the Brits, i would lock their retreat point ability (not the building itself) til they have bought either hammer or anvil tech. And it would also be a great time to also unlock the OKW's retreat point ability (not the truck itself). Unlock after 3 or 4 trucks are setup ?

Talking about the ISG spam and stuka rush (<-- usually with cmd panther and recon flares) cancer to get rid of support guns. Additional problem with ISG spam: Even if you micro like a god, these things will constantly snipe models from you nevertheless. And that's BS.
Yes you can counter ISG spam with rocket artillery, but at this point, at least 1 OKW player alrdy has panther or something like that on the field usually, and now allies usually lack hard to counter this since they were forced to focus on the indirect fire cancer from OKW
Allies rely on combined arms to win the inf battle, you can't just "counter spam" or "counter blob" with your own inf to get rid of vetted volks and 8 minute obersoldaten (Yes this is possible). You need smart support gun usage, but ISG spam and stuka with recon flares will just show u the middle finger in that point
Btw why is USF retreat better?? 1 stuka barrage and at least major + ambulance get rekt.
If ISGs are overperforming, I can sympathise. I remember when both ISG and USF pack gun were wrecking everything. Is there are balance thread about ISG, are other people complaining?
I disagree on allies using combined arms. Penal blobs, IS blobs and rifle blobs happen every game. With weapon upgrades they beat the Volks, even vetted ones.

I would also keep the FRP for OKW, but i would delay the it to match a realistic window corresponding to when a USA major can enter the field.
No FRP for OST or Soviets. They have others means.
Only OKW's one is problematic.
Interesting idea about delaying OKW's - but: OKW's is a tier structure and so can't be placed as far forward as the Major. He can pack up and move or retreat to avoid being artied to death but the truck can't.
I guess that's why OKW get theirs earlier. It's a trade-off for both. Amis have to wait but get more flexible FRP.
Also, you don't think Brit FRP is a problem?

It's my personal opinion that they should be totally removed for all factions that have them.
I think on both sides they encourage blobbing, and it really shows when a rifle/volk/tommy(?) blob retreats and then comes back literally like 15-20 seconds later, especially when playing as EFA or lacking a retreat point of one's own. I just feel that this is one of the things that encourages blobbing and should probably just get removed.
I don't think things are a huge improvement, but they are certainly heading in the right direction. Still credit is due to the work done by the mod team. Their frustration dealing with Relic is very obvious and props for continuing the work in the face of it.
For forward retreat points, let's not remove the mechanics that make the game fun to play and factions feel unique, that would be silly.
The Brit med packs are fine, it is true that it can help prevent soft retreats; but any player applying proper pressure won't have that issue.
Indirect arty is certainly a problem in larger games, but mostly players bring it on them selves by encouraging the enemy to make it via some kind of Sim City or turtle strat (as any team), so that's ok with me too. People who are properly offensive and spread out nicely don't really suffer heavily from it.
The larger JT and Ele are effective, but only in functional teams. Largely though I see so many retards trying to fight the best anti tank units in the game with tanks. By that point in the game people seem to some how forget the usefulness of strong AI inf backed up by PAKs.
But maybe there is some works to be done here. I feel that I am sort of forced to pick JT some times because there are often lots of allied tanks poking with hit and run tactics and Reketons just don't have the range/acc to punish this. So improving Reketon or slowing down repair times in general might see a reduction in these heavy AT units.
I'd suggest, to improve things quickly; start looking at the maps. They seem like the biggest issue right now.
It's true, the 2v2 maps are bad. They are half the reason the big tank destroyers are an issue. Try flanking on Karkov, lol.
But I do think forward retreat points are too much of a benefit. If you add up the 45 seconds saved per retreat - 20 seconds run home, 25 walk back - (plus the soft retreatability they offer), it's clear Sovs and Ost are at a distinct disadvantage. I doubt individuality would suffer if they were removed.
Hmm not really.. a lot has changed since the last 2 patches. OKW can pull off its cancer much easier now. Maximal abuse of UKF and USF is almost equal I agree, but 1.) unlike OKW you need doctrines for that and 2.) the abuse of allies usually hits in mid-late game. Thats where OKW already has hardcounters for that abuse (KT, JT, LeFh etc.)
And dont forget this Forward Retreat Point nonsense. UKF and USF have it too, but their's are much more fragile and/or hit the field later.
What OKW cancer exactly? They have nothing comparable to allies in recent patches.
USF has the best retreat point 'cos it's free and you can move it. OKW's will get katy'd and artied mid game and die.
OKW are strong now, maybe some things are sa bit too strong but they're hardly gamebreaking like flamer penals and USF mortar from prev patch.
And UKF artillery.. What do OKW have, Volks, lol?

dbl OKW works well but that's cost OH is weaksauce.
