Thread: Stormtiger16 Nov 2019, 23:24 PM Hi, just played with the Stormtiger. Description of the Stormtiger says that it fires a 376kg rocket shell, but the stormtiger can´t even kill a cute scout car with that. So, just in theory, if we had a catapult, which fires a 376kg stone... I am pretty sure that scout car would come out quite flat out of this engagement. I remember the stormtiger was able to one-shot medium tanks back in time. Is there a reason why it performs so badly against vehicles now? In: COH Central
Thread: Remove Manpower Penalty!4 Nov 2019, 21:37 PM Yeah, thats actually how 4v4 games work. However, you got the timing a bit wrong. It´s currently meta to do nothing at all for 3:88 min. Start pumping units like crazy after that time stamp, because you got a huge manpower advantage already. Wait until you have 10 squads and then just a-move enemy base. Wins me every game bro. I know that meta is silly, so your complains are perfectly reasonable. I really hope that the issue gets adressed next patch. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: How to Counter Axis as Soviets?21 Oct 2019, 00:06 AM Mines and Demolition charges are great. A crippled Tiger (engine is damaged when he hits a mine) is often easy to kill. Demolition Charges are good to get an infantry advantage. However using them is a bit difficult, because your enemy can see them as well. I would recommend to place them behind sightblockers or inside bushes. Skippyfix uses them a lot in his stream. You might get some ideas how to use demos there. In: Strategy Desk

The most common blobs im seeing are falls, STG44 volks and G43 grens. So basically anything with good moving accuracy. Mines are not that great on bigger maps and mgs are terrible. Even two squads of bren IS can take an mg head on not to mention okw and long range nades of ost. -->Mines are great. Believe me. Fallschirmjäger are really expensive. It hurts a lot if you loose models to mines. -G43 Grenadiers can be outgunned by Infantry sections with brens or conscripts with svt rifles. -Dhsk machine guns are quite good. -Any flak halftrack works great against infantry blobs.(Brits and Soviets have one) -STG44 Volks blob might be the most difficult to counter. Still any elite infantry units should be able to inflict serious losses. (commandos, shocks) In: COH2 Balance
