Thread: An alternative for Kubelwagen!12 Sep 2019, 11:11 AM Kubel is pretty much not viable currently. It has to fill the role more to vet better. Shared vet is not enough if its output is inefficient. I think moving self repair to Vet 1 would help make a real improvement on this unit. In turn for moving the Map Detection to Vet 3. Instead of constant repairs which takes up so much precious time which it always seems to be only good at at the moment. Better this change than a improvement in DPS which would be unbalanced. Repairs on Vet 1 is balanced and would definitely be better imo. For scaling purposes too which is something that really has to be taken into consideration. I would be a totally fair chage since it is utterly vulnerable especially against light vehicles. There is really easy counters currently against Kubel so Vet 1 self repair would be fair.. That is why UC is even more viable. Doing this simple change would be an improvement. Consider this Devs. In: COH2 Gameplay

Well you do get the point there but the reason why is because they have 2 strong LMGs and they are 6 guys like USF paratrooopers also. They would be terminators if they could move at the same time. Thread: Ostwind Overbuffed?12 Sep 2019, 10:17 AM It sucks against tanks. I mean, who would in their right minds even want to challenge a tank? Ostwind is only good against a tank that is either stationary or coming towards the Ostwind. AHem, only good if 2 v 1. Big deal. If Ostwind even attempts to chase a medium or a tank, it will miss most of the time since the shots will mostly likely end in up in front of the tank. Ostwind is the same as Centaur. Stop creating this stupid fantasy of it being overbuffed. It deserved to be improved to this stage. It is just as viable as Centaur which is fair and just and a thought through balance by the Devs after all this time. Only 1 difference for those whinying about something something being OP. 1. Centaur excels better against infantry cuz of an ability they have, forgot the name but surely those who have played the game will understand for sure. 2. Ostwind does not have any ability to excel, just Blitz for escaping, thus it has an increased penetration only. Thus they are the same performing units. Ostwind cant challenge any medium at all except test mod since that is for dummies, testing against a stationary unit, a cost effective T34. Such great logic. Actually it is ridiculous a comparison. Do 1v1. That is a fair challenge since that would be the same price right. As I said, who would even attempt using an Ostwind against a tank actually in game? Allies have TD, thus it concludes Ostwind is bad against tanks. Such great logic to decide for both Centaur and Ostwind costing 100 fuel. It should still be 90 for both of them. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Fallschirmjäger is very OP!12 Sep 2019, 10:08 AM I would say Falls need a nerf in the utility, that is it really. They have to be a qualifying unit which they hardly even were before. Their performance is improved as it should have been in the first place since Falls were the elite units. They are still vulnerable imo. They are not OP unless they are 5 or 6 man which they are clearly not. Falls deserve to have this current performance due to that fact. The problem now is, them having much utility at the same time. I think just removing the Phosphorous nade would do since that is a very strong combination against infantry, no need for that, remove it. Even Comet should remove Phosphorous for better and balanced performance vs infantry since that is too cheesy too imo. In: COH2 Balance

The only faction that has a right to cry is USF because of ther low armour but UKF has high armoured tanks where bazookas wont do sht, and in fact you can use doctrines as a reason for soviets because most of ther doctrines gives them access to very good tanks, soviets doctrines are unique in that regard then to every other faction. (when soviets where originally designed the faction play style was designed to be relied on what doctrine u chose which is why they have some of the best and most useful doctrines). are you claiming allies don't have good mobile AT inf too? what makes them just as dangerous is the ability to snare. Look, in order to get double shreks for example, they come on an expensive squad 4 man squad or for OKW in 2 doc's, while for e.g. uSF can equip riflemen squad with X2 bazookas WITH snare or put it on a dirt cheap rear echleon squad, no doc;s required. UKF can do them same on engineers with snare. ALL factions can have powerful inf AT, however, which is better is situational but one thing clearly going for allies is the accessibility. Definitely truth told about who has definitely better accessibility to snares and mobile AT inf at the same time. There is truly no better combination that qualifies it as a better faction (Allies) to use for mobile AT with snares. Axis does not even have any real proper unit for mobile AT except Pzgrens (ignoring Pzfusiliers since its doctrinal, factions needs to have a qualifying default one in order to make them proper rather than it being locked up) the only unit available in axis which are useful but they are less survivable. Personally if I had to choose which factions to use proper mobile AT units, it is definitely the Allies. Nothing beats snares in combination with handheld AT since that would have definitely a bigger overall effect in contrast to only having Schrecks, lol. In: COH2 Balance

It tickled infantry while never suppresing infantry to red status on flat ground, no cover. It is pretty much what it does that whole time. The patch changes, there is still no real reason why it should even be used since it is still such an underwhelming unit. There is really no real improvements made on the FHT. Costs wont change the incentive, it is performance. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Fallschirmjäger is very OP!12 Sep 2019, 09:37 AM This match the 1st one with Falls was definitely a bad way of evaluating Falls performance. You could see that the USF player lost units early and most of the time engaged with 1 unit vs 2 axis units thus logically losing not only to falls but also to volks and sturms. Falls OP, you can see that it is worse than USF paratroopers which is clearly the best USF unit available. Even Rangers are good but the guy used it against 2 Falls. I watched a match with Duffmanntm and Scholoadetears, both playing allies against 2 OKW. 1 OKW team used Falls but they were not OP. Duffmann and Schokoladetears won that match anyway. So I dont get the point of how Falls are Overwhelming in anyway. SU have Shocks which counters so many Axis infantry and MGs and that has been a very strong unit for a long time. Even Guard Rifles. The point is, I dont hear as many people complain about Allies (when they clearly have much more stronger utility within their arsenal in terms of doctrine units) as much as in comparison about Axis having something which is meager in contrast. It is in a better spot now imo. In: COH2 Balance
