Thread: Can't get a good performance on COH1 Steam15 Apr 2013, 18:45 PM I have a 3ghz 4core computer. ATI Radeon 6700 card and 8 gb RAM. When playing COH1 (not the steam one) i get good performance (with good graphics). After installing the Steam version and playing on Low graphics, I can't play with that performance, really bad (I'm playing a 1v1 game and it looks like playing a 4v4 huge map with arty everywhere) It's very frustrating because i cant micro properly. Please i need some kind of feed back. PD: This is not a repeated topic, the other topic does not solve my problem. In: COH Central
Thread: Company of Heroes Steam Performance10 Apr 2013, 20:25 PM I have configured less detail in Steam version and I have worse performance than running it on normal COH. I've made the test, I downloaded Tales of Valor from Steam and the performance was bad as well. I only have good performance with COH played out of Steam. Yes, this means I have 3 COH-1 installed right now. 2 on Steam and 1 as a single game. Both on steam performance (with same and lower settings) works bad compared to my normal COH. My PC settings are: 3GHZ 8Gb RAM and ATI 6700 card. In: COH Central

Plenty of lost high feul points that are turned around into wins because of better unit preservation. I disagree that important high resource points were "too punishing." They were in fact essential... the driving force for a player to fight in the middle of the map. Centrally located high resource points also define the maps. What would Ango or Rails be without their forward fuel points? I agree with you, I don't like the idea to build ammo/fuel points. Strategies are based on map content, I think it would be boring if even capturing important map sectors, both teams have the same chances. Coh2 should be an improved Coh1, not a different one. And changing the "high points" and cutoffs makes COH different. In: News
Thread: BartonPL24 Dec 2012, 14:57 PM One day, i had luck being automatched vs Barton&Friend team on 2v2 AT. Of course we had no chance vs that team but we fought for 30 mins. When the game was near to finish (favorable to Barton team) he started to harrass me and my mate, for some reason he was frustrated and he started with a bad actitude against us =( Few weeks later, Barton joined the "GreatGame for Coh" assistance chat wich i am developer and Staff member.
