As I said I have not used them enough to really know how the G43 fares against Allies. But IF they need a buff, it could be a small durability buff to let them close in a bit better and better fulfill their role. Sprint could work similarly
Yes for the role of g43 aggressive usage sprint and durability are nice things I agree but nature of grenadiers will be broken. They need to be work with HMG to get achieve things not really by themselves...
As for the G43's they gives nice DPS to targeted inf with High accuracy shots ,rate of fire, moving accuracy at close to medium range but when Allied LMG's (esp BAR's) come to play not really viable to use than LMG 42.
Like I said before , in my opinion if we gonna buff g43's giving accuracy bonus to light cover or suppressed inf , it will be fit better to the role of grenadiers.

nope, this happens with any support weapons, test yourself, get a sniper and shoot at a MG using the tacmap, the sniper will shoot at the mg and won't kill anyone, this is a bug and relic probably knew about this, this is why support weapons are invincible when they are crewed because if they weren't you could just snipe anything using tanks or ATGs.
you can still do that but the gun will have 0.1% health when it get decrewed. I guess relic never bothered fixing since it requires a little bit of micro to pull it off.
Omg in cheat mod I tried and yes if u use tactical map to attack u can literally shoot to weapon itself but its not decrewed when its decrewed by other inf etc then it has 1 pixel health ... |

There's a place for g43 grens, due to how cheap they are, the fact that grens come early, and the utility of the Panzerfaust.

I also agree that G43 on Grenadiers are not great, but also not that bad. The upgrade saves some munitions early on while giving a decent DPS boost.
It's okay though that it is not better than the MG42 upgrade.
However I have to say that I did not play much with them recently, but if the general consensus is that they could use a small buff then I'd say either a utility buff (sight range increase or sprint) or move the 10% RA buff from vet squad leaders to here
%10 ra bonus makes them relatively op with 2 g43's even that I like to use them...If a buff gonna happen it can be buff to grens light cover maaaybe garrisoned cover accuracy against allied inf or just against allied support weapons. But either way thats not grens really needs... |
I prefer scuddle pak ability to, crew destroys the gun retreat the base then can rebuild pak cheaper kind of ability ( crew cannot cap points) to shooting over houses etc. With this alternative brace can keep vet crew alive but ofc it needs penetration shoot ability after spending mun anyway or will be utter useless without it.... |
What if we give some kind of ability to PPsh cons like "volley fire" or "spray and pray" that cons can drain health from targeted squad (not dropping models) close to mid range (amount of health drain can be adjust between this ranges) Like BARS With molotov it can be deadly or just debuff targeted squads fighting capability at that range.

Yes, but on PanzerGrens, cuz it increases their effective range, gives them even better DPS while moving in close range or chasing retreating squads and only slightly reduces close range standing efficiency.
On Grens it's a bit weird, doesn't increase their long range DPS at all, but makes them better at close range, something that Grens are generally not intended for (and still far worse than PGs). It made a bit more sense while PGs were locked behind T2.

In my opinion g43 upgrade to grens simply for people who decided to skip t2(Pgrens) to t3 when before the patch that which gives Pgrens to main building.
They dont really need g43's they just need to be efficient guardian for mg's and with little buffs it can be done like rate of fire or accuracy bonus near mgs or something like that but that for another discussion. |

Too many people arguing and suggesting in this site about game balance and balance team sometimes listen some times not . Some people say that balance team is incompetent to handle this good but bad designed game …Some says relic not letting them to free to do logical changes. At the end it doesnt matter. Game was allready dead long long time ago when with brits and western front armies arrive. Of course its my personal opinion some will agree some not which is I dont really care…
Game have no real standart unit design like “mainline inf”, “Support gun” or standart dinamics like cover system,flanking etc…Yes! Just units and abusively powerfull units with mocking games general cover and other Dynamics all over. No matter how some People says this kind of balance is good for diiferent strategies.. , yes in theory but not in practice.
1v1 balance maybe ok but in team games nah just not fun. Some times its allied faction get stomp sometimes axis which currently playing with axis just not rewarding at all. I am playing this game since vanilla coh with all factions.Aprox %50-60 win rate with 2v2 mostly with any faction And really starting the getting bored with abusive stuff that brakes the game all the time no matter which faction. This is bad design.
You just cant buff or nerf just one unit to make things perfect at this stage. 5 factions “mainline inf”. Yes there must have some difference but not like one player can abuse the other, its like slight difference , bulletins kind of maybe . It must be the positioning timing or general strategy to make u win not the unit. Coh really doesnt offers something like this. I remember sniper in scout car tactic for soviet, one or two burst buildg clearing centaur,invincable axis tanks, high accurate volks etc…. Always like this no real strategy just cheese no matter which faction.
Why does mortars have auto fire? WHy does some units have to deal rng bu others dont need too much . I am talking about main line tanks that relatively counter with each other. Differences ok but not this kind of scale.Not like sherman one shot wipes for 4 men squad or brumbar etc.. You get the idea. Some must have pros and cons some has just pros or cons!..
nevermind at the and this game was dead still and dead,the tournements are proof with really boring predictable games...Game need to have general dynamics and unit classification which is not gonna happen maybe next game I hope...

Why are you insisting on slow heavy vehicles so much then if you realize their hardcounters are working well then?
60 range TDs are strong, because every single axis player is tunnelvisioning straight into slow heavies. Try to invest in more mobile and diverse force, OKW has especially easy time here, because JP4 is a hardcounter for allied TDs.
If I play with axis always use panther for tank hunting,I dont like to use heavies in any faction personally jp is quite good but dmg or penetration I really dont know seems low with low sight.
when its get vet It can gıve sum punch but like I said in practical situation Tds more rewarding againts jp because of the ez usage(fast move ,vision or other things exclusive for allied factions). If u re not using Panzerfusiliers u can get easly raped by line of sight.
As I said before maaaybe theoretically TD and axis armor balanced in some point but in practical situations
its not.So many abuse in allies faction. Yes if u good at any faction u can ignore with nice team play but with this kind of rondom matchmaking its gets annoying so fast. Maybe some players like this way... |
