Thread: What the heck am I supposed to do with rakettens?6 Jul 2016, 15:45 PM I put the 4% penetration bulletin on them and personally think they're the best AT gun in the game simply because there is no way medium armor can react fast enough out if a pair of them flank cloaked up and catch them unsupported. Always get the IR halftrack at some point in the mid-late game too. You need to know where stuff is to use them properly. They are not meant to be frontline AT guns that can take a bit of punch and reverse out, they are more like snipers. Try to use them in pairs and look for armor unsupported In: OKW Strategies

So the game has devolved into bumrushing your opponent and trying to force a retreat. Yeah, the incredible accuracy of indirect fire forces units to not stay in cover for more than 5 seconds. Of course you see people forming blobs to close the gap with artillery. You can't play a positional game. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't turn engagements into just trading hitpoints like a regular RTS. It's like playing starcraft with ww2 skins. Reduce the accuracy of indirect fire and increase the scatter of all direct artillery of all armies. Even make skillful artillery like the Stuka HT not fall into completely straight lines. Give everything more scatter, less damage, and goddammit please increase the unit spacing In: COH2 Balance

Yeah units like infantry sections are in general good units to have but decisions like whether to get a sniper should be based on what you're facing. Should I get one in the early-mid game if my opponent has been able to hold multiple fuels? Probably not. Do I need suppression? Is their style static or fluid? What is the reinforcement cost of their infantry choices? All bullshit you should take into account when you're playing because your income is fought for and there's no such thing as a best build order. In: UKF Strategies

Okw needs new commanders with doctrinal AT options that don't force them to go T3 and a way to manipulate their resource income.
