Thread: GG, not.1 Nov 2013, 21:59 PM Here's my two cents on the issue. In my opinion when players say "GG WP" at the end of a game I think they should only really do this if indeed the game was actually a good game, where both players played to the best of their ability. Otherwise I feel the meaning gets lost. What's the point in saying gg when maybe you know yourself that you played terribly or got stunningly outplayed. Instead of saying GG in games like these players should just say WP. As for saying "GL HF" at the start of the game I believe everyone should do this as it shows respect for your opponent and helps promote the scene in a good light. If a player says gl hf and his opponent doesn't respond in kind I would consider that rude. It really doesn't take much effort to type that back... In: Lobby
