Thread: The game IS a click fest now22 Oct 2013, 21:22 PM I would argue that the overall playerbase has gotten better rather than game is broken. More and more players have realized where to place the nade to get max efficiency. More players have learned how to dodge nades (look at CoH1) still there are just a few players who actually place nades at the door instead of into the building. I know I get better (slowly but ok for my age I guess). So it would make sense if other players get better to. I think this game is still evolving. I do have to fight harder myself as well. But I think this is what it boils down to, players get better, and perhaps even more players that keep playing. In: COH2 Gameplay

Was thinking about vetoing it, but I think its sad to veto a map just because some units synergy with it to well (a unit that everyone doesnt have). Its a really nice map (perhaps a tad small for 2v2, but then again, the games get so intense on that map its crazy). Was discussing the veto problem with my 2v2 pal yesteday as well. If everybody boycots it, it ends up not getting played, and I really dont think the map is as much of the problem as the units are. Thread: Pace of teching21 Oct 2013, 13:48 PM Agree to a degree. Some games can really be very infantryheavy supported by tanks rather than tanks steamrolling. Not sure if it actually is faster than CoH1, there have been discussions about this, but perhaps that was back in beta (cant remember) and those numbers dont match current meta. My gutfeeling is that teching was somewhat slower in CoH1, and I liked that better. Also, it provided some fuel and manpower based upgrades that could delay tanks. In: COH2 Gameplay

It can really reveal flaws in a strat. Its not always the units that are the problem. It can come down to where you use the units and other micro. In: COH2 Balance

Not a biggie but the using the wrong words for things like level and rank can be very confusing. @Topic I think it would be interesting if you could actually check a box or something, where you accept long waitingtimes for better ELO matches. When vet1 hits, you have to spend munitions to be able to hit anything (Though what you hit you kill). As stated earlier kill it fast making a huge manpowerloss for you opponent, many off-maps will take it down, even light artillery. In: COH2 Balance
