Thread: WEHR:- Fix "Close Air Support" (CAS) doctrine6 Jun 2019, 04:16 AM The Close Air Support Doctrine is fundamentally a good idea. Thematically having a doctrine based around the Ju-87 is really cool and reads like it would be interesting to play. Although this is not the case in execution. It has some neat skill based abilities which allow for: Support of Infantry Light anti-tank Fuel/Muni generation A way to neuralize a point/team weapons The problems with the doctrine make it so that it is impossible to use effectively, even near a map edge. The main use seems to be to provide allies with fuel/munitions to gain a tech advantage whilst neglecting most of the other abilities. Some of the problems include: The implied synergy between abilities is almost non-existent Almost all abilities are too hard to effectively land the abilities cost more than they accomplish (in most cases) For the munition cost, similar abilities provide far more effect. It would be good to change this doctrine to allow it to see usage and viability in 1v1/2v2 settings, without becoming op. Proposed changes include: Give mg strafe more damage Allow anti-tank strafe to stun or blind or engine damage Stuka bomb should do more damage to heavy tanks What do you think? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Fix OKW Sturm Offizier 3 Jun 2019, 14:29 PM Jump back to quoted post3 Jun 2019, 06:26 AMmiragefla If I recall, the initial draft, if the Sturm Offizer were to ever bee allowed to be changed is this: Sturm Offizer -Target size from 1 to 0.91 -Aura removed -Retreat on Offizer model death removed. -Veterancy 1: Reduces ability cost by 10 munitions. -Veterancy 2: Increases squad size to 5, +40% accuracy -Veterancy 3: -29% Received Accuracy, +10 to ability range. -Veterancy 4: Offizer switches to an StG 44 from his pistol. -Veterancy 5: Self-healing His main focus is a combat officer thanks to Ober rifles versus the others who are a little more supportive or lack his initial firepower. He still has two very strong abilities. Of course it all means nothing if he's not allowed to be changed. That looks cool, although I think his abilities are pretty boring, even giving him just the standard smoke/stick of other officiators would complement his lead from the front style better, or maybe sprint instead of self healing at vet 5? Also, make it so that his abilities stack with volks the same as rifleman/US officers. In: COH2 Gameplay

There is no way panther can slug it out now. Right now the front and rear armor are too high when its hp is already so high and with its fast turning and its gun is better than p4.
