A tank that can self spot/remove mines fits urban combat. Although at this point im exhausted and I just would just put E8, Calliope, Rangers, OffMap arty+smoke, Bundled New weapons for rifle and rearE, pershing tank call-in as some fanboy demand and let them see the game die by itself because #USFNEVEROP In: Lobby

But fact is, with this approach nobody uses cons because why you want a sponge unit when you can have penals? ... To spot for TD? To capture VPs under fire? To chase and snare tanks without loosing too much resources/value? To scout and flank for weakspots and for giving space oto other infantry. Cons are bad but i enjoy every time i can use them. They have still some fun. Penals on the other side, they bleed more and you woulnt risk them. In: COH2 Balance

USF will be garbage again because panther counters all tanks, even heavies. Tank destroyers are the only way to keep panthers in check, thats why jackson got the changes it got, not sherman. Thats not true. Panthers have really slow turret traverse speed, only to be compensated by their movement speed. (That almost matches M36 coincidentally and to make brawls somewhat balanced). There is a problem here that both J36 and panthers are Tanks countering Tanks, both have the same role, diffrent costs but different stats. Both are called "brawlers" but only jacksons are rushed, panthers cant unless we consider Command Panther for OKM (and thats a problem on its own already). Last word jacksons beat mediums, TDs AND Heavies. Panthers beat mediums and Heavies, TDs are but the most expensives trades and not cost efficient nor reliable. Bonus content: Jackson have self repair. I wont argue agains "assimetrical balance" since i do agree with it, but M36 current situation is not design wise but late powercreep stages, even Panthers are leveled to Jackson to stop USF roflstomping Axis east and west. Secondly stukas are not that strong if you were to use them, maybe the problem is that you always set up your team weapons in straight lines and clumped together. Anyways keep your opinions clean if you only play 5% of the complete game. In: Lobby

By the way, the comparison with commandos is unfair, given how extremely OP commandos are and still not nerfed appropriately to this day. Cons are compared to volks and thats fine, Stormtruppers are compared to commandos, "is unfair". Ironic In: COH2 Gameplay

So 7 man cons would be still able to pick up lucky schreck/mg42 without ability to upgrade them with ppsch and stuff The only way i see it viable is that 7th man for conscript comes with weapon upgrades for the squad. Maybe you shouldnt play that commander anymore if your words about him is "crap", also demmanding buffs its not the best way to ask something to the mod team that you dont even pay a penny to them, they are not slaves, you know? Why would you waste your time like that. You have plenty of other commanders to choose from. In: COH2 Balance

I see that modders know that conscripts suck at a later game, but instead of a buff, they just blur the problem. Even with the seventh person they will be bad against other infantry in the later game, which is why they have a 20% gain in experience and cheap reinforcement - they will suck and die. Maybe the problem is this way of giving feedback about the conscript buff. I do agree that its not enough, but it shows the dev team does care about conscript situation. Do you really want triple buff/nerf solutions? Out of balance "this is my turn to be OP" BS? I dont, i do appreciate dev team caring for cons and giving NEW ideas instead of "make cons the new obers" concepts i've seen suggested so many times. Cons not meant to be good at lategame, but i guess more cost reduction and more survival would be a good way to go. In: COH2 Balance

If comet was so good we would see it in half or maybe one third of ukf games as opposed to current 1 in 100. Actually no, the game doesnt follow retarded logic. FYI. Next time dont use non causa pro causa and you'll be fine. Comet isnt showing that much since churchills are both, more reliable and easier to use. Comet has a bad risk/reward ration but that doesnt mean its useless, its riskier and harder to play with but far from useless. In lategame when AT control is critical, comet is not your AT tank but comet+firefly. In: COH2 Balance
