If you are new and just looking to learn units, e.g what they do, their strong points and weak points etc.. Then yes, playing against the AI is good practice so that you know what to do in a multiplayer game. It can also be a nice 'warm up' game.
If you are looking to get BETTER at the game and improve your skills by playing against the AI then no. Because the AI does very predictable things (it also literally cheats in higher difficulties). This makes it so that it is not like a human being, a human being is unpredictable. Humans will flank you at times very effectively, circle your tanks and in general play some hardcore strategies difficult to counter. AI cannot do this.
You can beat the AI at max difficulty 10/10 times and it is not an indicator of skill in MP.
I sadly don't think Relic will be making anymore QoL changes unless it's a big ass patch made by the community.
Anyhow, I've decided to use them for another Foreign Infantry squad that is based on the Spanish Blau Division and Croatian troops that served on the Eastern Front alongside Germany and used much of their equipment and uniforms.
Sounds like a good idea. Sadly you are right, Relic no longer gives a fuck.
The Splittertarnmuster used by the Grenadiers in CoH2 is not historically accurate, it is some offspin.. And a full suit of it? Absolute nonsense, was not used regularly.
LMAO, are you serious dude? As OKW, from the very start what else can you properly build? Do you want us to build 3 Raketens or 4 Kubels? What are you on mate?
The Volksgrenadiers are the main-line infantry and blobbing is an issue IN THE ENTIRE GAME. The Volks are like not even close to good for blobbing. Try conscripts, guards, riflemen etc.. These are proper blob troops and in a blob difficult to counter. Volks? I mean what the hell dude.
