Thread: Pershing, Tiger, and IS227 Nov 2019, 23:34 PM As a Red Orchestra player, I must post this: But really, the Tiger I and IS-2 are quite similar. Tiger has a better RoF (5 second reload vs 6.4) and is faster. IS-2 has better AI (the DShK is 3x better than most pintle MGs), and more armor. Tiger hunts, Stalin breaks through. Other than that, they're pretty much mirrored. And they're both a little too good, IMO. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: (2) Novgorod Outskirts15 Nov 2019, 19:51 PM Hey- I played a couple games on the map yesterday after you asked for feedback. Love the atmosphere. The red cover road splitting the map in half might be too tough to cross. Maybe there could be a small section of damaged road on each side that's only neutral cover? Somewhere near the forks in the road. That way, there are safe places to cross, but your opponent knows exactly where those are and can set up ambushes/mines accordingly. Of course, that might not be necessary because the front line is so wide. I hope my amateur feedback is of some use! In: Map Sharing

I'd recommend getting the coh2dps program for questions like this (it's only a little out of date), but here's what I have: Firefly does 200 damage every 8.25 seconds SU-85 does 160 damage every 5.65 seconds So, SU-85 has a higher anti-vehicle DPS, but lower penetration. It gains penetration with vet, surpassing the Firefly. The Firefly instead gains damage, so its DPS and alpha strike ability are improved more with vet. The answer to your question depends on the health and armor of the target, as well as the veterancy of the TD. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Guard Rifle QOL Improvement14 Nov 2019, 19:36 PM I agree that they're kind of awkward, but I think that awkwardness is what makes them unique. It's cool that they can contribute damage at long range against most targets; no other squad can really do that. A somewhat similar squad, Support Paratroopers, can become great at AI or AT, but they have to choose one. So, I dunno. I see what you mean, but I kind of like them the way they are. In: COH2 Balance

Or else this would have happened longer time ago already That would be very easy, actually. In my opinion, their CP reqs shouldn't have been lowered by this much. A more direct solution to the heavy tanks' timing issue in team games would be to increase the rate at which CPs are gained based on number of players.
