You can't have units infiltration spawn at full elite strength because they'd easily wipe retreating squads. This (alongside with direct access to grenade) was removed a long time ago. Commandos spawn with 3/5 models, Stormtroopers spawn with 4/4 models but with Gren rifles. No middle finger, just following healthy game design. The Stormtrooper flame grenade is specifically designed to take out caches in combination with a bit of small arms fire. This is to prevent instantly killing caches, or would you think it's fair Stormtroopers could just infiltrate spawn from a building, throw a grenade and retreat and kill a 250MP cache without any chance for the enemy to defend themselves or retaliate? However, the Cpt comes in at the exact same time as an Lt would, so it makes no sense that the unit would get it, when the Lt does not It's mostly because now the Lt gets access to fast HMG. Having BAR Lt would have risked a strong AI build coupled with strong suppression around 4-5 minute mark to completely shut down the Axis player. Especially with the Lt's offensive light vehicles straight after. The Lt/Cpt veterancy is probably just an oversight. In: COH2 Gameplay

They are not like Jaegers, who have Kar98K and thus do not have shock value. The Pathfinders however have airborne carbines that have excellent DPS so their 2x M1 Garand sniper is actually what makes them counterable early game. Volks and Grens can charge them and 1v1 them at close-mid range because after dropping 1-2 models the PF will be left with only 2x snipers with no DPS at close ranges. The current implementation should be counterable. If it proves too strong after all, their entire weapons profile (before upgrading) would have to be changed. In: COH2 Gameplay

It removes the USF ability to be all-in offensive in the infantry war, and together with it, some of the faction's unique strength and feel. But now the USF get much faster access to .50 cals. If the LT still had the BAR that would've made the LT tier godlike AI and it would've either snowballed the early/mid game or forced enemies into LV play. Now there's the added benefit that the LT tier has soft AT and as Lago said, that the captain is more attractive as first choice. In: COH2 Gameplay

It doesn't require QA, doesn't require localization dept effort and can be done by anyone having access to localization backend. Its been a while since they actually localized something for CoH2 in non english and they already copied some descriptions in english for other languages. Well if that's the case I'd suggest for people to volunteer to translate the new localization themselves and present this to Andy. I'm sure he'll be happy to put them into the game. In: Lobby

The game just writes "000000000 No Key" (don't remember the numbers). The language is French.
