I'm kinda surprised at how poor pgrens perform ingame in comparison to BAR'd rifles (based on this graph). Maybe its the DPS drop off of 4 models vs 5 or because the BARs are retained until 2 models. Regardless I'd say this graph doesn't tell the whole story. Of course it doesn't, but even in an apples-to-oranges comparison I was expecting the BAR to have higher DPS across the board from a pgren STG, and for the margin to be larger. In: COH2 Balance

Like not being able to move infantry due to napalm spam, B-4 203mms , LeFH spam, Stuka zu Fuß rush etc. If you give bunkers pop-cap its fine to me since i do not use it anyways but medics must be provided by the base then. The bunker would only get a popcap price when installing the HMG42, not when you get medics. At least, IMO. Same with fighting position ofc. The position itself doesn't take popcap, the HMG upgrade would. It could be less than an actual HMG due to obvious limitations, but it shouldn't be a freebie. In: COH2 Balance

I was going to post: They have near identical performance on their MG, and their guns are equally useless against infantry. Only difference is at far range where AEC is slightly higher in DPS. Just compare the DPS charts on coh2db.com/stats... ... though I'm honestly shocked one would ever have the conclusion that AEC was "good" against infantry in any capacity. At best It can park on top of a team weapon and maybe drop a model, or use it's smoke/push a squad around by moving into it. In: COH2 Balance

I know, but I reiterate my previous point that I don't think this 20% damage reduction will fundamentally alter if a howitzer nukes the squad as much as it will make throwing a grenade at grens even less appealing. I don't think this is a HUGE change and ultimately I think it just means that as USF I'll be even less inclined to tech grenades against Wehrmacht than I already was (since the most important nade, IMO, is the snare which is given via vet anyway). This is just hypothetical tho -- I'll try to run some games and see what happens. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW September patch discussion22 Aug 2019, 20:51 PM So total cumulative changes to rak are now: 5 man crew, 55 range, retreat available, camo locked at tier 1, cannot move while camo'd? (and can garrison) ... That's pretty strong, IMO, and while it removes the majority of the stealth-creep cheese, I think it's a bit much to have both retreat and 5 man crew. Still, will need to test it out a bit to really see. In: COH2 Balance
