All I want is a Tiger who is worth the money. Looking at the video the TIger is NOT worth is money. And if you say "The T-70 is better than the 222 because it costs 70 fuel".. well thats a good argument. More expensive units should be better than cheaper units and im all for it. Sadly your logic dont work on the KT who is a lot more expensive than the IS2 but not nearly as good.Heck, the KT is also not nearly as good as the regular Tiger. In: COH2 Balance

Both axis factions are designed to be strong in late game, thats why Tigers should be better than Allied Heavies. Thats why the T-70 is so much better than the 222- because Soviets are supposed to dominate the mid game. Why is this logic accepted for light and medium vehicles but not for heavies? The nerfs will hit both axis factions a lot harder than USF/ Soviets who did not need heavies as much as axis factios. Why? Because both factions dominate the game before the late game. I still hope the patch is successful because I love high level tourneys and all participating players deserve good balance. But Im really afraid that the balance will be highly in favor of allied factions. If Axis can only be competitive because of op Tigers... what will happen when their main crutch unit is taken away? You need a tank that can do constant damage against allied inf... In: COH2 Balance

It's definitely a balance issue for team games where it's a lot easier to park them behind shot blockers/ wall of support weapons and just let them do tons of damage with minimal input. +1 In: COH2 Balance

Thread: OKW Command Tiger Aura8 Mar 2020, 15:00 PM The aura is bad and more or less a nerf for the OKW Tiger because the unit only get good vet at vet3. After the Tiger nerfs the aura should be buffed or replaced by something useful. In: COH2 Gameplay

Then we will have to buff the allies again etc. I think there is some truth in what you are saying: Its simply wrong to say that OH did not get love in the last years because in the summer the mod team buffed Pgrens and Ostwind, and also lowered the tech costs. This is a lot. Where i disagree with you is that Allied factions are more or less balanced after the changes to SVT/7man cons. I think there is one USF unit in particular that absolutely need a nerf and thats the pak howie. Its insane how good the unit is in teamgames. AoE and accuracy are way too good especially if you consider that OST mortars were nerfed heavy after the UTT tournament. And OST is the faction that should have better team weawpons than other factions. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Rifles overperforming?7 Mar 2020, 07:11 AM There is one match up where RM clearly over perform and that is when they fight Assgrens. Before the RM buff this was a solid match up for Assgrens on the right maps, right now i would not even pick Assgrens against USF anymore. Its ok that RM dominate on long and mid range but its ridiculous that Assgrens lose close quarter fights against RM. I>f a dedicated close combat unit with the same price like RM not/barely wins cq engegements something is clearly wrong. In: COH2 Balance

You can’t go mechanized, drop medkits, put down mines and upgrade fusiliers and use grenades. Way too muni intensive. +1 This post leads me to a unit that should get some attention: The Sturmofficer. The unit is more or less in a good spot™ after the changes but has awful synergy with Pfussies in Breakthrough doctrine. Pfussies needs tons of munitions for their G43 upgrade and the Sturmofficer is also VERY mun intensive if you want to use his abilities. Add the mun costs for mines, sweeper and med kits... and you know why i wrote about "awful synergy". This is why i would like to suggest a radical idea: 1. Remove the Sturmofficer from Breakthrough 2. Make the unit a stock unit in Battlegroup HQ This changes would have the following benefits: 1. The mod team can add a unit/ ability that has better synergy with Pfussies 2. Battlegroup HQ gets finally more attractive! I really cant see any disadvantages and the mod team already did the same with the Airlanding officer for the Brits. Hell, the Brits dont even have to make a tech choice to get the chance to build the officer. And lets be honest: Even after this change BG HQ will still be considerably weaker than Mech HQ. But BG would at least offer more than in the past. In: Lobby
